  1. Is the rotor still attached to the movement?
  2. Great watch and nice pictures too! I have the full black dial and it is one of my favourite watches, the lume seems to last for ages. Enjoy your new watch
  3. Pictures not working, try http://imageshack.us/ Always works for me Interested in seeing the movement too.
  4. ETA 7750 or Asian 7750, never adjust the quick set date, when the hour hand is between 9-3. That is very much correct
  5. Some of the links in this thread: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...=vintage+insert Might prove useful. Cheers
  6. This has not left my wrist since I received it from PT
  7. At the beginning of the year.
  8. I imagine the sales staff in this guy's local AD can hardly contain their excitement when this guy walks in There is probably a picture of him in all the AD staff rooms, all over the area
  9. Did The Zigmeister say the Asian 7750 was bad? I though he liked the newer high beat movement. Oil it, service it etc.... and it is a good movement, what did I miss?
  10. The '3' position subdial still has the '20' printed higher than the '10'. That always jumps out at me on the dial, so easily fixable too...... Solid case back is cool, but still stickers on the rotor I bet.
  11. Where is the sense in buying lots of the same watch...... It is an obscene waste of money. I have very little time for somebody who could throw that sort of money around like small change.... Different world I suppose, but still....
  12. You will have to remove the hand to re-position it I am affraid, no other way to do it.
  13. That's what happens when you have more money than sense........ What a muppet
  14. This watch is a tank on your wrist, I can't see you having any problems Take it to a small independant jeweller to have it pressure tested, if you want to be 100% sure of your watches abilities.
  15. Those are the pictures I was sent. I purchased a dial and hands set from him via that gmail address. Cheers
  16. They all have modern pearls and will not fit a genuine pearl becase the hole in the insert is larger than the 2mm required. So I would say over the ones you have listed, keep the MBW original and install a geniune pearl if you can. The MBW insert has slightly thicker font than the one I posted info about, but it is still better than all of the Clark inserts, why downgrade? Cheers
  17. Have a look here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...=vintage+insert They are the best vintage inserts I have found listed in that thread, also an ebay seller selling vintage style pearls. Cheers
  18. Check out the crazy prices for them on ebay!
  19. Hehe thought so. It's 2mm smaller than the Iwc Cousteau, thanks for the info and pictures sox123. I like the fact that it is smaller though, the Cousteau seems large on the wrist, at least it did on mine
  20. Looks nice Is it a slightly smaller watch than the IWC Cousteau?
  21. Aw man seeing those little screws breaks my heart I need them so bad to fix my watch, at least one...... TTK you have contact with the maker of these watches, could you please enquire regarding the availability of them as spares? I would be eternally grateful if you could ask. Cheers
  22. I am pretty sure that the Tags come with the high beat 7750. At least my Tag link with the brushed bezel did. Confirm with the dealer before you buy, but I think the answer would be yes..... Cheers EDIT: looking at the links you provided, I think you have researched well enough and found the answer yourself Welcome to the forum, you long time lurker
  23. I assume there are no prototype photos? I cannot access RWI........
