  1. Don't EVER buy the Asian clone "Rolex style" movements, they are [censored], massively overpriced [censored] too Stock Asian clones are better, and a hell of a lot cheaper, even Swiss ETA movements will cost about the same and be reliable.... Seriously, do not buy this "Rolex stlye" junk, all they offer is a huge profit margin for the dealers
  2. Nice! +1, that gen chrono Avenger dial needs to get inside that titanium case quick!
  3. Yeah, I like the plat mat HBB's too, I really hope the come out with a bead blasted ceramic case Hublot, that would be the ultimate scratch proof mat Hublot!
  4. Thanks very much neverworn, I am glad you like my posts!
  5. Thanks guys, this watch has definitely quenched my Hublot thirst!
  6. I heard rumours that the 7753 sunken date issue was going to be fixed after CNY, nothing more than that though....
  7. I have not purchased from the Twins for such a long time, and reading this I am glad. They are sending out watches different to the ones pictured now, seriously not good As has been mentioned, there are much better dealers to chose from, some are not forum supported like Tony from Asian7750, but they will send pictures of the actual watch before shipment, as will Mary from Watch-international and others Drop shipping sucks, how can the twins guarantee a great watch, without even looking at it? Steer clear of the twins, you can get better watches, prices and service elsewhere....
  8. Hehe, thanks! I wanted an all black, but one where I could actually read the time, so the ICE dial was the best choice
  9. I have had this watch a while, just never photographed it. I sent it to Domi for a rotor and regulator mod (fantastic work as always!), and more recently I upgraded the bezel to a polished ceramic bezel, as well as changing all the H screws (old ones were a bit rough) I know it's not accurate to genuine, but I just wanted a full ceramic Hublot watch with the ICE dial and hands Here are the pictures! Click to expand Please excuse the pictures, I took them without natural daylight, had to tweak them a bit too! What do you guys think? This uses a high beat 7750, runs smooth and accurate. The strap is smooth rubber with a nice vanilla smell. The crystal is not from the 1st factory, but another factory, it has better AR than the first factory, not light blue, but a deeper blue/purple, it's very effective! Comments and observations welcome!
  10. Still has a sunken date, I thought that was being fixed soon?
  11. I am glad the guy is gone, so nobody else will get ripped off..... In the end it's not so bad for me, the BCE looks OK with single AR (the genuine blue deployant strap helps!) and the Omega will end up looking better with the ETA date font.... Cheers!
  12. Yep, the Omega is fixed, and has an ETA date font now too, can't wait to see it! Domi fixed up the duff 6263 I received too
  13. Ah, he is just a really weird guy, he wanted me to return the BCE for a refund, but washed his hands totally of the Omega, even though the Omega had the worse problem (faulty) The BCE was easy to fix, I just stripped the outer AR, the Omega is coming back from Domi in Germany now.... He seriously thought he could turn around the ban, but that ship sailed long ago
  14. Yep, I had another crazy PM conversation with him! Thanks for the quick pick up Nanuq!
  15. How about the DSSD, 5-6 versions, each as unbalanced and fugly as the last, horrible watch, gen or otherwise....
  16. That is good to know, thanks! I hope that DSN is willing to sell one, he has not replied to me the last few times (before CNY) Any idea how much a DSN 027a style crystal would be?
  17. Fantastic research, thanks for doing this, how many did you break?! On another note, what would be the best crystal for an old school eddie lee 029 (2893) based PAM? The crystal installed at the moment is quite poor, and looks larger than my DSN 027a crystal....
  18. Those are some super sweet PAM's!
  19. Thanks, that was a couple of years ago I think! I found the pictures It is one of the most accurate replicas around that's for sure!
  20. Fantastic write up, and a sweet watch, thanks for sharing!
  21. Only thing with Airsure, it requires no receiving signature, so the mail may be left unattended when posted, whereas Royal Mail registered post requires a signature when received. Airsure is really meant for documentation too, not watches etc..... I just use registered post, list the item as a timepiece, $30 value, and tick the gift box, never failed..... Cheers!
