Marty, I was the one that used Omega Flightmaster hands on my 1655 but they were fitted to an ETA mvmt. I'd say the one's you have with a vintage lume would work, unless you want to pony up for a gen used set. I have an excellent condition gen 15xx fat font silver DW but no flat top 3's, PM me if you're interested in it.

Berti, when you find the color/shade you like go over it lightly with a cape cod polishing cloth to give it a little shine again.

Well at least the dial now says Oyster Perpetual instead of Oyster Perpetual Date! Can't quite tell nut the case still doesn't seem thin enough and they can't seem to get the bezel shape right, still appears to be a sub bezel.
