I noticed it has a Certina crown. I'm looking to replace the crown/tube on my black Sharkhunter ... anyone have suggestions, perhaps something like that nice Certina piece? I want it to be waterproof again. It should be approx 7mm diameter by 3mm wide, and the tube is a press fit into the case.

I experimented a product I found, "Flitz" metal polish. Many new bracelets are very stiff, so I tried working the Flitz into the links and then flexing and twisting them. The polish quickly creates the equivalent of a couple years of use, freeing up the stiff links and making it feel much more silky. I used this (extensively) on a Yuki 7206 and it already feels decades old. You can rub it over rough edges and smooth them down, but it will polish the link faces as you do... so you'll have to brush them again when you're done.

Gahhhhhhhhhh! I vote for #2, but there are aspects of #1 that are better. Overall, #2 is closer to gen. Sorta.
