Try a watchmaker. Might've been magnetized, or dropped, or maybe some hands got into the watch and played around with some things that shouldn't have been touched
It looks very close though at 40.xx mm. Who knows, it's hard to keep calipers straight for more than a few seconds - let alone when you're taking a pic.
OEM is the way to go.
But there are, from time to time, some really good aftermarket items. It all depends on what model watch the insert is for (some are better than others).
There must be a correct dial and buckle being made as I type.
And hopefully, there are date modules being slapped into this rep, too.
I bet that the new BR03 is dependent upon the creation of the BR03 dial (due to the date window).
We are almost there.
I honestly use a little bit of Olive Oil, and I apply it with a Qtip. I've freed up countless vintage OEM bezel assemblies using this method.
Sometimes it is best to somewhat reshape the assembly if it is extraordinarily tight. I also replace the flat bezel springs on the old genuine assemblies. I grease 'em up with Olive Oil prior to reassembly.
This is good news for us today though, despite the lack of date and BR03 dial/buckle.
We are indeed almost there.
I cannot wait to strap on a BR03 PVD with white dial.
I have a feeling that this will be happening soon.
My method:
I sip Tequila, not down it
I prefer it in a tall shot glass
A little lime, no salt
Sometimes fresh Sangrita (in a tall shot glass) to sip with the Tequila
Brands?

If I'm in Mexico D.F. (Mexico City), Hornitos and fresh fresh Sangrita is wonderful!
