  4. I'd be in for one perhaps if it would be water tight for a god 3atm at least and some dial options. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  5. I've been hunting a deal on the old vintage 600m one for a few years. Trying to find a decent one formless than $4k. I'm about to buy back my old v2 rep of that modern one since it's such a great summer watch! Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  6. All good advice here [emoji106] Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  7. if you're a public servant it's likely better to wear less expensive things rather than flaunt your wealth. Perhaps the utility of this watch and its low cost is a statement on its own. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  8. +1 Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  9. I like them both. HR is a better finished case. A better bezel. The Rehaut is too deep and can sometimes look off. Silix is a more slim design and wears better. But the case and bezel are cheaply built and it comes through big time. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  10. Gedi does nice work. Well done and interesting plexi. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  11. Wow nice find! Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  12. DSN case shapes and dials are often incorrect for various reasons. They all need work. If you're looking for a Panerai to the closeness of gen consider the Noob 111 or the Noob 243 v2 or v3. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  13. Yeah agreed, panatime has good service and inexpensive. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  14. Only two Angelus movements I can think of have a tie to Panerai. 215 and 240. Angelus however made a large array of fine clocks and watches until their demise in the Quartz watch boom. I have 4 angelus clocks in clock form and 3 movements in builds. Really great bargain for such a neat 8 day movement depending upon which you find. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  15. Max, try homageforum for River. He is a sponsor there. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
  16. What's your budget on this 3646? Before strap this watch can probably done in various forms depending on the case/movement/hands. Most bang for the buck being a River ($200-ish ) case or Silix case ($50-ish) The advantage of the River being. A 3pc design as per gen. Take said case and have someone solder up or weld up the area near the lug bars. Then upgrade the crown for an Athaya crown for $35 plus tapping the case. For movements you're looking at anywhere from $50 for a Molnija to $100-150 for a Eta 6497/8 to $300-400 for a 616 Cortebert Now comes hands. Neckyzips is making some badass blued hands soon. Otherwise a fella named binbin has made some steel similar to gen length hands that can be heat blued. Otherwise River also makes so very decent hands but the crowntube has a silver ring that pokes through and can be seen. Hands probably varying depending on what you choose to be $50-100. Finally is the dial. Various great dial artists out there on HF from Bigwaved to Irate03. Base dials usually run you aroubd $30-35 and then painting on top of that. That should cover you. Assembly should be fun and straight forward. Good luck with your build! Oh and a plus 1 on both Neckyzips and Nightwatch. Good fellas. Sent from the my iPhone using Tapatalk s
