  1. Morning all! This one for me today and tomorrow
  2. To enjoy your favorite rep for a long period it is adviced to have a preventive movement service by a watchmaker (unless it's a cheap 21j movement). Note that you cannot take your rep to an AD for service since this is a illegal hobby... The best you can do is call a local watch repair guy and ask if he minds working on replica movements. Some don't mind, others really won't work on reps. Wear your less favorite reps without servicing until it breaks (hopefull not for years..) and see at that time if it can be repaired or not.
  3. @Drizzle: first and foremost welcome to the board! Unfortunately there's no straight answer to your question. Please follow Ilsteve80's advice, do some research and find the best Sub you like from the best dealer for you. I'm really no Rolex guy so I can't help you specifically, but in general there are different versions of reps you can buy from different dealers. No rep version is 100% accurate, so you need to study wich model fits your needs best. Enjoy!
  4. @BT: Arghh @%$%^&!%$!!! I'm trying to reduce my collection to a manageable 8-10 pieces (sounds familiar?) and now you're posting this??!! The white one with panda dial
  5. Welcome aboard and enjoy this great forum!
  6. There's no reason to be disappointed about the Asian7750. Before this there was no problem with the movement. You need to send the watch back to Jakub and have his watchmaker fix the problems......
  7. I have a 28.8k 7750 3717 and the day and date wheels line up perfectly. But a slightly swaying minute hand sounds familiar to me...
  8. WOW, that looks awesome, congrats!!! You definitely should wear this at the Amsterdam GTG AND WE ALL NEED THE REP!!!!!!
  9. Maybe the hands and wheels haven't been installed correctly, but sometimes the minute hand of an A7750 can move a bit when shaking. You'd better ask Jakub for advice what to do.
  10. Hoi Josh, welcome to this great forum! You won't be dissapointed by the information you can find here.
  11. If you're from the EU PT is the safest way to go. In his communication he may not be among the quickest, but he always delivers and has excellent QC. Note that he sells the regular unmodded 111 rep model. The AR is little to non-existent and the lume pretty decent, but could be improved with aftermarket SuperLume.
  12. Now you go, my friend, and don't forget to post us some nice pics!
  13. So has anyone already opened up the watch to see if this is a 2836 with improved GMT gears or still the same old questionable GMT design?
  14. Looks like a scamsite showing a gen pic. Don't wanna know what kind of crappy watch you'll actually receive....
  15. SATURDAY & SUNDAY Still..... @Bazz: great pic!!
  16. It took some time, but finally I've made some pics of dissassembling the GMT module. See first post.
  17. Very nice find, thnx! Can't believe only 3 people replied to this very interesting link......
  18. FRIDAY Tag Heuer Link Chrono @Kelster: the GMT is looking great my friend!
  19. The bezel of the rep is indeed a bit too wide. Also the pushers are too fat and the crown has too few teeth.
  20. Bazz has helped a lot of people who had problems with keyless works including me
  21. Actually, it's that easy. Use a small piece of Rodico at the tip to pick up the hand and use the handsetting tool to press it onto the movement pin. You'll need some practice to increase your control, but this is basically it. Be careful to use the right size of handsetting tool. GMT and hour hands have a bigger size than the chrono seconds hand.
