  1. Welcome to our party and enjoy! There are some great TAG reps to find
  2. Welcome aboard! Read our dealer reviews and make up your own mind. From what I understand (no personal experience) PAM111 is one of the cheapest dealers around here, but he also has lots of issues.
  3. Welcome to the party and enjoy!
  4. Welcome to our little party. As others already said read, study, ask and enjoy! However, if accuracy is important to you I'm afraid you have to forget about the Monaco, since there's aren't any good reps of it. The original movement hasn't been replicated yet and the believe is it won't in the next few years.... The existing reps are mostly quartz with too thick cases and wrong shaped 'chronopusher-guards'.
  5. First of all welcome aboard and enjoy the party! Here's a pictorial I did of the one of the 1st versions. On page 3 you'll find a comparison pic of a transitional dial between the original (correct lume) and new dial (incorrect lume). This batch has sloppy printing: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...mp;#entry463146
  6. Happened with a Link Chrono and probably is going to happen to either a Monaco chrono or PAM111 soon.... For me reps are like a test drive. If I really like them I'l end up buying the gen. Lucky for me with most reps I get bored after a while....
  7. Wow, sounds you guys are gonna have a great GTG! Too bad prices for tickets to NY have gone through the roof these days
  8. The 3717 om a pilot strap looks great, Lani!
  9. Carl, this looks like you're naked. Somebody please get this man some Platinum clothes
  10. Great to see you posting these very nice watches, R! Hope to see you guys soon again
  11. WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY PAM088 on TWB croc @Merlin: love your Glashutte!
  12. I think they can, but simply won't do it. As others already have said there are other more popular brands than Panerai. Besides, the already existing PAM reps keep selling, so why invest in improving older reps when you can make a super rep of a new model and get more money?
  13. Great pics! So how did you remove the 'AR-coating'? 2 minds thinking the same
  14. Happy Birthday! And the 2 watches look great on you today
  15. At least someone who acts. I can respect that. But I wonder how many of the 90% that thinks reps are too expensive will do the same.....
  16. That's one of the most imported changes here plus we now have raffles and auctions here . Some old members left, a lot of new joined, some dealers and modders are gone, new dealers joined and we still think new reps are way too expensive, but keep on buying. So you really didn't miss that much
  17. Hmmm.... after 4 pages and about 90% of the votes saying reps are too expensive, I think we can expect almost everyone here to stop buying reps and learn these nasty rep factories and dealers a lesson! Guys, like Kruzer already said on page 1, vote with your wallets. Trying to speculate how the cost structure of manufacturing reps works doesn't lead anywhere. It's probably a combination of cost increases, weak dollars, inflation, greed or whatever, but since when do customers determine the price for manufacturers?
