Wow, that looks awesome with the PVD and carbon!!
I'm not really sure what to think of the grey lume, though. I wonder how blueish lume will look like since I love the lume shot.
Here's some pics I shot this evening. In this light the blue AR is not that much noticeable and therefore shows the potential of this rep. In daylight it's ugly blue under most angles.
edit: daylight pic added. Note that in real life the blueish hue is all over the sapphire.
I have the black one and the blue AR is horrible, so I have it scheduled for the next Chief AR.
After Chiefs AR and swapping the day & date wheels for ETAs this watch would look awesome since the rep is pretty accurate. Only the pushers are slightly too big, but not noticeable when there's no gen too compare with.
I'll post some pics later this week when I have time.
Is this the same reason why starting the chrono will first cause the chronosecs to jump back a little before it starts counting? The ETAs seems to start immediatly from 0.
Congrats on your gen dial!
From what I could see at the AD the gen has a slightly lighter black color than the deep black Cartel dial. The DSN dial seemed more correct. Now that you can compare all three of them which one is the most accurate?
Does your gen dial have concentric circles in the subdial like the DSN dial?
How do the gen hands compare to the Cartel hands?
Not that difficult to me: off course you will go for the GO A guy who already owns two very nice UNs should have another conaisseur brand instead of the more common (sorry guys ) Rolex brand. At least people won't ask you if it's a fake...
Check this interesting comparison on TZ: http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tre...ev=&reveal=
The quality of rep AR differs from no quality (the AR is not real AR, but just a small colored film layer to make it look like AR) to average quality.
However, after market AR from Chief is comparable to AR on gens.
I don't know the BP from my own experience, but the 'AR' on the 3717 is very average and I wouldn't be suprised the same goes for the BP.
