I was meaning those made of ceramic (expensive) and those made of steel and then PVD coated... The ceramic ones are sold for more than 200 dollars by Angus, the other cost almost nothing. (although I paid 60 dollars for mine, with a tool)

I doubt these are tee "genuine" ceramic bezels. That might explain the diffence. Just a theory.

I'm amazaed how the rep manufacturers still can spoil a watch with such simple things... This is typically the kind of thing I can't stand, as anyone will notice it, more than a sunken DW.

It seems that one of the drawback for Tag Links, especially the blue is the light reflection which sometimes even prevent taking good pictures. So AR is definitely the way to go, looking at your shots. It seems K2222 and Chieftang made us AR addicts these times. I love this trend, as actually it makes me save money : AR coating prevents me from selling some watches and also simply makes me more busy in modding than in buying.

Hi Mickey, sure, look at my signature. The other difference is the bolder datefont. Easily fixable. But I decided to leave it, as it's not wronger than the thin font. I had it AR coated by K2222 and swapped the bezel for a knurled one thanks to UB7 and have a more than decent (almost) ultimate version for less than 400 dollars... http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=131 There are already some good feedbacks. And one which is less positive. Make up your mind. I don't want to take my own example always, but I've been dealing with him exclusively since last september. I had less issues than dealing a few other watches with other more popular dealers. The difference with other dealers is that he is learning, so you will see that descriptions and/or answers are not always 100% But I think he's basically honest, that's the key. Every member has his own expectations, and some won't accept an inaccurate or uncomplete description, even if not thought as a lie... The core of my opinion on him is that he won't let you down and deliver what you ordered. In the same efficient way as others, and with a fast communication.

I have no problem with that, especially when you know it has a (non working ?) regulator, which makes it look more like the original 7750. Besides, the lower beat, the longer life ? Again, I don't think this is the more than 1,5 year old movement reappearing. Just a feeling of course. Fully agreed. The HBB is overpriced since the beginning. But again, a price is right as long as someone pays for it. I am fan of the lite version, but there are many fans of the expensive version around. Marketing works... As for these pictures being gens : I hardly believe a gen of each colour was available for pictures... I'd be interested in seing this one for real : if it really has better engravings and rotor (looks more open too), I'd like to mod my lite version further... I had never believed there were 2 manufacturers of the HBB. This is now proving the contrary. Good information. I hope the parts are compatible. At least, this thread shows that there is a way with new dealers : Watchmark is bringing stuff which you don't have elsewhere, and also chime in the thread, which I take as a very honest step...

For your remembering, the very first versions of the lite HBB had the low beat 7750 and a bold datefont. I have one. So I am not surprised that you can find this movement in this model again. For me it has run perfectly so far, and I can't believe that after 18 monthes (or more) some new old A7750 stock popped up again. These must be new batches, possibly without the old problems. Screw down crown ? I have never seen this on an HBB. Sql, isn't that just a crown that has been pulled to stop the mechanism ? I'm still of the opinion that the best bargains are the lite versions with "genuine" after-market AR coating and possibly a new knurled bezel. And yes, selling the bezel alone for less than 100 dollars would be a good market, as the 250 dollars from Angus are just nuts. Watchmark has also a quartz (yes quartz !) version using the high-end case (at least it seems to be the same) : by purchasing the whole watch for 160 dollars you can get the bezel (I'm curious if they are compatible)... Then swap both and resell the quartz, which is anyway inaccurate. I'd love to see Mark's comments on that.

Swapped from bracelet to strap for the Ingie : this is the way I love it... Anyone helping me sourcing a genuine strap for a good price will be rewarded (I will have a rep nylon and a rep bracelet for sale after I found the grail...) I'm mad with that. I'd wish to have this as modded as possible : the Lello DW will follow if I get the nylon strap, and probably a K2222 genuine AR.

Not 100% sure of what I'm saying but... I have 2 recent Asian 7750 running 21,6 kbph. They show no drawback against the others higher beat I have. I feel like they can't be the same unreliable versions as we met in the past. I consider them just as good. For now.

Fantastic pics ! Not for me, but the watch is worth only for its incredible design. I could not live with all the problems you mentionned, but again, have to see what the other batches will be. I am simply in love with the crown and work on pushers and caseback. I hate dust on rubber, and this is really an issue that should not exist on pricey reps. The Porsche Design Flat 6 and the HBB (not really rubber) don't have this problem. Awesome watch, I know at least 2 colleagues at the office who would damn themselves to get such a beauty.

I'd be interested to know where the pearl can be ordered. It seems to be a good backup solution if the one that comes with the BB is really too bad.

That's always annoying. But it's true it won't be noticed. However, I'm just as anal as you and would ask the dealer to send an other bezel, especially if he promised to QC the thing. The only QC I trust is the one with pictures of the actual watch. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

I usually don't wear rings nor any kind of jewel (except reps ), but I will participate if that can help reaching the minimum of order. Ken, please count me in. I like TJ's logo a lot and am for something sober (silver & black just looks perfect). I have no idea what my size is, how do we find that ? And also how big is the ring ? Err... Can we have a... fingershot ??
