Excellent side by side, thx for sharing.
Strange coincidence, just today I have "worked" on the Ingie (changed straps) and was thinking of improving it with a DW...
I know the bracelet is a nice piece of work. I have however gone for the nylon strap, it just gives it a very different look. "Thinner" I would say.
In any case, an affordable "super rep" ?
Hi,
TOS on iOffer is Thailand based.
http://www.ioffer.com/selling/tos
He's not cheap (nor TTK is) : I delt with him twice : responsive, serious and reliable.
If you're new to this hobby : don't buy from anyone on iOffer that has not been recommended by the boards members, there are many scammers around.
Also, please read this thread about TTK : members would not be honest by not warning newcomers about dealers habits.
I think the rep manufacturers might read the time on a Quartz Porsche Design for the next few years... (if the battery doesn't leak)
Make it 200 USD, maybe it will raise buyers interest...
I don't see anyone choosing the Quartz for the same price (or more) as the auto movement. Sillix has the A7750 for 310 and Watchmark for 325...
I have usually nothing against quartz... But for the price, it's indeed sick !
Besides, but that's a question of taste, this chrono looks "standard" against the original subdials design on the auto version.
Not worth more than 200-250 dollars, but just because the case and strap are very good. Quartz (even Swiss quartz >> most often Ronda and not ETA) are cheap.
Hi,
sounds odd but...
I bought a lite HBB with the low beat 7750 (and it's "dummy" regulator) + bold datefont.
I have never crossed an other one here, only lite versions with the 28.8 k mvt.
Therefore I consider my version as rare (and having been some kind of draft ?)
It's outpriced
I had the chance to buy the knurled steel bezel from UB7.
I'm sure Angus could also source it... Why not ask him ? It's the same manufacturer after all. And the price should be under 100, i.e. not the price of a full lite version.
Unless you really want ceramic as a matter.
Hi,
almost agreed. The Porsche Design is excellent at repelling dust. At least not to catch it.
The Chopard is the worst I've seen, at least on the Asian version. Not to mention an Omega I bought for 10 dollars and which went to dustbin in a minute.
I don't understand why rep makers use such a bad rubber. A question of a few cents cost saving ??
The HBB is not really rubber, maybe this explains that.
Looks more like PVC or something. Well, plastic
Just bought a Tag Heuer Golf. And I will resell it because I'm a dust foe
For those who want a leather strap that sticks to the case, Hirsch is having a whole range named Leonardo.
