  1. OK great will PM you guys when it comes up.
  2. Will be getting one together in a few weeks will post in general discussion when I nail a date down, in Hoboken usually not to far from you.
  3. Will be expecting you at our NJ GTG !
  4. It is not uncommon for suppression operations for a single wildfire to exceed costs of $1 million in just a few days.............................................
  5. All the in and outs aside I am a sucker for a panda in any watch so that's my pick.
  6. There you go!
  7. Functional, sets on it's own.
  8. Well not good , hope she stays safe.
  9. Thanks guys, now to get it over my hand ! Knew that was coming. You never know, I am fickle.
  10. Gen spider dial, gen 2836, gen crown & gen bezel insert & gen clasp. Case has been reshaped & re engraved with correct markings.Three complete GMT reps & numerous parts before one could be found that takes a gen dial.
  11. TF , out of the box or did you send it out for a go over?
  12. So now we are in it for a G note , I was looking under $400 at a $1000 a lot out there gen.
  13. I do not know guys figure 418 + shipping then send out to get movement serviced ( may get a good swiss may not) then have work done to ensure water tight ( make sure crystel set right, gaskets , silicone them whatever............). Now I just was looking at some micro brand divers a lot less, new movement you just hit the water.(not like I need to get one have plenty) I guess the question is do you want to hit the beach with a non descript brand watch that looks pretty good and gets the job done or pay a bit more and have a Breitling Seawolf on your wrist. I have gone both ways over the years and really do not care what people think (no one knew what I was wearing anyway on the rep ones 99% of time) but I do like the look of this watch regardless of brand. So could have in and ready for vacation but still would have to bring a gen diver or two just in case it craps out with 8 days daily in the Atlantic. Tough call.
  14. I'd take it a bit cheaper with out the Swiss, lord knows what your getting.
  15. Guys I really how they controlled but will ask the chief.
  16. Good one I will let the more watch techy movement guys chime in on specifics.. But in most cases the more the better , now to the caveats and such in regard to different movements...................... , we are detail guys !
  17. By the way looks like a great vacation mate , one of these days...................
  18. Noooooooooooooo, no reps in an a AD, big no no cavi. No problem you are new and active you will learn the ropes, off to a good start. The key to learning the rep world is time reading and research. I laid low for first 6 months or so, just talking/posting ( had a good time) never voicing much in way of opinions though till I was sure of what the heck I was talking about. Even then I was guarded and very tactful of being offense, well you can see where I am today.
  19. Also if you go in your profile you can see your like count in the green box on right , that is others liking your content.
  20. I just liked above, see cavi.
  21. Ok I am 8.65 and the DSSD wears top heavy due to a few factors first it's thick as a brick but most of all same bracelet as small ones, but some like it. On the 51 run hard and fast away from that behemoth can not imagine how it must feel on, it is a paper weight/conversation piece not a watch to wear.
  22. Well first off wrist size?
  23. Looks better on it Dave , pray tell how long is that mesh? Does it come in XL ?
  24. Like it Jimbo and for the price of the build even more!
