  1. Wow! Something changed in the last day or so. I have a list of stuff that "automatico" Is going to order for me as well as the bars.(Startime) Thanks for the info though.
  2. Thanks! I will have a look at their site and see if I can come up with some other items. Much appreciated.
  3. I'll do that, but I have found many U.S. sellers can't be bothered dealing with the simple customs form and jack up shipping to solve the problem with international shipping.
  4. Nice, I just checked their shipping to me in Canada.............. $55 USD shipping!!!!! Ya gotta love US ebay sellers shipping charges. It happens a lot and not just watch related stuff. Very frustrating when I have had small items shipped from the US for around $8.
  5. I would think the opposite would be true, If you wear a watch most of the time(except showering) you know right away your not wearing it when you get dressed(well at least I do, I sometimes even take this opportunity to change watches).I don't think I have ever left the house without one on my wrist.(maybe I'm a bit compulsive in this regard) But that's just me I guess.
  6. Welcome to the forum! Do lots of reading, there is a lot of good info here.
  7. Most seamasters(non chrono) can be waterproofed. Chrono style watches(speedmaster) can be difficult to keep dry. No matter what a dealer says about a watch's water resistance it's best to have your watch pressure tested. Some mall kiosk watch shops offer the service. Personally I have never understood showering with a watch on, heat, soap, etc. are bad for seals and gen watch manufacturers advise you not to. Dead skin etc. can collect under the bezel and in the bracelet.(disgusting) http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=202180&p=2038768&viewfull=1#post2038768
  8. We need a pic, the crown should be SS.(there also may be a pit in the crown that was not polished) Take a close up and someone will help.
  9. Do yourself a big favor and read all you can on the A7750 movement as it can be prone to breakage if you set the date at the wrong time or operate the pushers to reset the chrono while the hand is at the bottom of the dial. Good luck.
  10. Hi, You joined us so why not take advantage of the info here. We have a trusted dealers section, the dealer you have linked is not in it. Do a lot of reading before you spend your money,if you do, you may end up happy. These are from another forum but apply. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=39 http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=4505 TD's here http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/230-watches-clothing-accessories/
  11. No problem, Something I heard a long time ago that you might want to keep in the back of your mind(it worked well for me for 35 years) "The probability of survival is inversely proportional to the angle of arrival. Large angle of arrival, small probability of survival and vice versa." I envy you, Be safe! (and if you can't.......be better than the other guy )
  12. Just keep your helmet's shield down! I built one but I don't pump it up over 3ATM. (I'm married and retired from flying for a living so I don't worry about my face much anymore) It works well enough to show most leaks.
  13. Build a Nalgene tester. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=19853&view=findpost&p=305390
  14. Welcome to the forum! Your credit card is going to take a beating.(trust me on this)
  15. Certainly better than what we are referred to in forums elsewhere, eg. (The Castleford ladies knitting circle)
  16. The 20mm is the right one to fit the watch. The one Sean Connery wore in the film was a borrowed watch from the producer, fitted with an incorrectly sized 16mm strap. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCwQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Frolexblog.blogspot.com%2F2009%2F07%2Freal-james-bond-watchstrap-comes-to.html&ei=jCgTVKmrJcW-igLvrYCIBA&usg=AFQjCNFFfZCQbrM_b3wIys9jE1A_HrRNYQ&bvm=bv.75097201,d.cGE

  18. Be aware it is most likely a scam and not AU based. Nearly all forum Trusted Dealers are based in Mainland China. Here is one of many trusted TD's on this forum. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format=go&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_14098069820959&key=7384788ce4aeab830f00b905bbcc0552&libId=e91a2c5f-90ee-49c4-b84a-05e13dc10afb&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rwgforum.net%2Ftopic%2F157136-trusty-time-shifting-to-new-domain%2F&v=1&out=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ttw888.com%2F&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rwgforum.net%2Fforum%2F65-trusty-time%2F&title=TRUSTY%20TIME%20SHIFTING%20TO%20NEW%20DOMAIN%20-%20Trusty%20Time%20-%20RWG%20Forum&txt=www.ttw888.com You should do some reading first though, this is from another rep forum but it gives some valuable info: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=7456&view=findpost&p=120465 Welcome to the forum! P.S. Do a lot of reading before you order anything from anyone! (and they are REPLICAS not fakes)
  19. I have no idea, went to wind it one day and the crown spun backwards after a couple of turns. The watch runs fine for an hour or two ,but that's it. As I understand you have to make your own(click spring) as they are difficult/impossible to source. Attempting this I think, is a bit beyond my meager watchsmithing skills
  20. Applied around the base of the plexi,UV is way less messy and flows well. Don't know anything about using the gen other than a lot of people have had success. On a side note my st19 moonie just gave up with a broken click spring.
  21. My moonie is the ST19-Lemania copy/clone and it fit. As I recall I had to UV glue it as it was a bit loose.
  22. The gen plexi fits the rep speedmaster as well as sternkruz. There are a few threads on this. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/103785-omega-speedmaster-crystal-questions/#entry714644 http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=135476&p=1332912&viewfull=1#post1332912 http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=168823&p=1701270&viewfull=1#post1701270
  23. Not a 42 but my 45.5 UPO Swiss and Sunnydale crystal purchased in 2012 (TORO) is worth every penny I spent. (still running A1)
  24. There are a couple on Trusty's site. Don't know if he will be able to supply though. http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=7063
