  1. That's a stunner. Feel free to post more pics ;-)
  2. Today... Tomorrow... Etc... (until my 199 arrives
  3. This model is aces. Enjoy it, Bollo. Here are some pics of her in SS. I love mine so much that it stays in the box. Pathetic. The Kollektors
  4. Highly recommended. Just landed my first Rad from Tonyart/Mattuss with all the usual mods. Very sleek and subtle watch. Perfect for dress. I will probably wear this most of the time. EDIT: I have the H. I actually prefer the G model dial with E movement but I have zero complaints with the H!
  5. Works of art. Love the 4-liner and Kampf....
  6. Fantastic post. You just made up my mind about which I'd be going with. Best comparison I've seen on these models. Thank you
  7. True, dat. Never saw that model before, actually.
  8. Always thought it was a stunning piece. You are right -- doesn't seem to be talked about much for some reason.
  9. Hey. I've had a GSX-R750 02 for a few years. It's my third GSXR. Got it for $7800 in 2006, but it had more than $8,000 invested in aftermarket parts including Ohlins springs, Penske mono, Yoshi full system, etc. I'm an old fart so insurance isn't too bad until I lose my license. Pay around $1,000/year or so. Love the GSX-Rs, but I have to say... all the new brands have something going for them. Just depends what you like. I love 600s and liter bikes, just not a big fan of twins. Had an RC-51 for a couple years.
  10. First time I saw it at my Omega AD, I wasn't interested one whit. Back then, I had my eye on that black Seamaster Pro chrono with the column wheel movement (similar to the America's Cup). The PO grew on me over time and now its among my favourite pieces. Simple, understated and just lovely. Takes a little getting used to for the paradigm shift to kick in...
  11. That's the one I would get if it was to be a Navitimer. Nice taste and rockin' good AR.
  12. What's all this I read about the Roadster dial? Isn't the new version pretty spot on? White version has the silvery guilloche dial; maybe the coloring is slightly too greenish on the markers?
  13. Well, if you think that's dumb, I see people selling used photgraphy equipment on Ebay that actually costs MORE than brand new w/warranty. So apparently, some people just aren't good at math. In the words of George Carlin: "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."
  14. Ahhh. Divers. Love 'em. Great comparison and write-up. Nice eye candy, too. Thanks!
  15. Wow - what an incredible AR job by Chief. Love what you did with the SMP. Been thinking about doing that for a while now. Sorely needed despite the gen w/no AR...
  16. If honey brown is okay, you can get straps for the 100XL non chrono from a guy named Tony on Timezone. Google it. They are imitation croc, but far nicer than the rep straps. No comparison. And for $80 you can't go wrong. I waited almost 7 months for my HKT strap. The gen straps are very expensive - well over 200 if memory serves.
  17. Fabulous watch. Possibly my favourite. As stated above, the strap is really nice.
  18. @Toad - many of us proudly wear our Destros on the left. Good to know Vicky is coming back :-)
  19. I can't believe it, but that TT has been growing on me, BT. You, Sir, are bad for my wallet. Great photos!
