I may do that, it was cheap enough at $30 shipped, are you referring to the reverse LCD, negative mod?

Been wearing this since it arrived a couple of weeks ago, amazing new tech retro look 10 year battery life, and amazing illumination at night. DSC05853 by S STEEL, on Flickr

Well done A, great informative thread, I admit, these are indeed more complex to the ETA movements, but in a good way.

Ive seen plenty of these replica constructed cases, most from Josh, and vintage models, all with plexi's fitted, the gasket is to aid water resistance. Looking at the one photo of yours, the gasket appears twisted/deformed.

I too would like the black and white Daytona, but with fake chronograph, this is putting me off, I'm hoping the rep factory will release a completely newly designed A7750 with slim build and fill chronograph.

Thanks for taking the time mate to upload and share all those photos, looking at them I'm telling myself I would love to go to a GTG like this in the near future for sure. Looked like an amazing time was had by all

According to certain news reports, this US guy converted to Islam 30 years ago, and his Muslim name is Samir al-Hajib, but there are also claims that this is fake news. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/02/us/politics/viral-claims-and-rumors-in-the-las-vegas-shooting.html https://www.bustle.com/p/these-las-vegas-hoaxes-being-shared-online-arent-real-heres-what-to-watch-out-for-2743341

Hi Dennis, drop me a pm

I heard about it earlier, terrible, and would you believe, ISIS is claiming responsibility now too stating in a statement that he had recently been converted to Islam/Muslim, but these claims come as a complete, absolute shock to the shooters Brother, says none of this makes any sense. Time will tell. Thoughts go out to all those effected in this stupid and awful incident.

I'm next door in Finland and can help, do you know which movement this replica watch has?

I would say the balance is certainly early Swiss, the main plate could be also early Swiss, but overall, probably a mismatch of Asian, and Swiss parts.

It appears back to normal, still posts missing, but at least my customer left me positive feedback again http://www.repgeek.com/forumdisplay.php?292-Reviews-of-my-work

Experiencing more issues today, a load of my pm's have vanished, and some of my left feedback has vanished from my review section on RepGeek. Anyone else expediting similar?

Watch movements are far more delicate than bracelets. Best to look on eBay, and you should find some D5 on there. -
Drop me a pm, and I will forward my email, and we will get you booked in for an invisible prof double AR sapphire in there for you.

Don't use grease, use Swiss Oil, D5 will do the trick. Grease will not allow the oscillating weight to rotate freely. -
Looks fake to me, here's a gen to compare. Image 05-09-2017 at 12.03 by S STEEL, on Flickr

Whilst of course it is indeed possible to replace the crystal for another, depending on the actual factory, and version that this replica watch came from depends on the size, and thickness of the replacement crystal, this is due to many different sizes and thickness were used in the various models, versions, and factories of the DSSD replica watch. Best thing to do is have a watchmaker *cough* Service Provider to remove the current crystal, take measurements, and then determine is its gen spec or not, but if the latter, as Andy says, a Prof double AR in there would really make the dial POP. If I can help in anyway, don't hesitate to PM me.
