  2. This thread is a crock of poo. Dealers creating posts/members to flame/promote other dealers and vice versa. This thread should be removed, it's obvious what is going on here. TD's should be ashamed of themselves getting involved with pettiness like this.
  3. That's quality! Well done D.
  4. Gen today [emoji2] Sent from my iBend 6
  5. Don't think twice about it, find out what calibre movement is in there, buy one new (Cousins/Offrei etc) take it to a competent watchmaker and have them transplant the movement. I done this just before Christmas with a Tag F1 Chronograph. The movement (Ronda 5021D) cost me £27 brand new. The movement will set you back peanuts and the swap is easy. Honestly, don't worry about fix's, just replace the movement and enjoy many more trouble free years. Good luck
  6. Masturbation is a great way of getting it out of your system, I tell my wife. Sent from my iBend 6
  7. 99.9 percent of people you will meet will never know what the IHS is. If you meet the 0.1 percent people, they will know instantly. It's a great rep, if you like it get it.
  8. Love it! It was a pleasure helping someone who knew what they wanted and were determined to do it and do it right, with a personal twist Congratulations and welcome to the 1675 build club What's next?!!
  9. 7750 has the 6-9-12 subdials, that's not going to take a 62-- dial? Sent from my iBend 6

  14. Well, God damit, I'm on a roll! 10.2 seconds of the ole search feature and BOOM http://www.pf-818.com/rlgv00123-vgmt-1675-ssoysr-bluered-a2836-p-10993.html
  15. God dammit...A new record for me, 12.6 seconds of searching revealed this http://www.pf-818.com/00rlex00102-vintage-explorer-1655-ssss-asian-2813-p-9157.html
  16. It's a screw, unless the screw threads are stripped then you just place the rotor back onto the centre post and screw it back on. I am in London and can do this for you but I am off to Egypt tomorrow. If you haven't had any luck by the time I get back (1 week) then I will do it for free, it's a 2 minute job. Good luck.
  17. You could remove the pins on the gen coronet and use something like 3M Spraymount applie to the coronet and position where you want it. As long as it covers the other coronets holes. Good luck.
  18. Ohh you clever chap! The time is coming for 1016
  19. Scratched caseback and chewed up lug screw. Apart from that it's a nice looking watch.
  20. The only thing I can notice is the V6F version has a updated movement to look more gen like. Compare the pictures side by side from both versions and see the difference in the movements. Still quite far from the gen 1887 movement. I have been up close and personal with the1887 movement and it is beautiful. It's a lot lighter than the ETA 7750 also. I prefer the the retro/vintage versions you were looking at before this. If I were to go gen I would go with one of those. Good luck whatever you decide, they are very nice reps and stunning gens.
  21. Wrong bezel but a classic Daytona. Change that bezel and make it what it should be Congratulations, my favourite Tona.
  22. This one, it's the grey face model by the look of the pictures. http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=76_116_165&product_id=1380 These new TAG reps are very nice. The only let down is when you look at the back, they can't replicate the 1887 movement. If I was going to get one I would get the SLR http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=76_116_165&product_id=815 Closed case back. Beautiful watch
  23. Less than 60 seconds on perfect clones revealed this. http://www.pf-818.com/tg1887007l-carrera-1887-vintage-chrono-ssle-black-a7750-pi-14698.html?image=0 Sent from my iBend 6
