  1. Hi and welcome. The ones You already have You´re stuck with. In future purchases You may ask for the strap length like will it fit a 7.5 inch wrist? If You scroll down here on Dan Migliores page You´ll find a conversion table I have used it well and a downloadable wrist-sizer to facilitate. Aftermarket straps have a much better quality than rep-straps, even machine-made ones like Panatime, the best are hand-made, I recommend Martu for price/quality relationship. Some smaller TD´s or Toro will fit other straps if available, not for all models if they come with a brand-specific one, just had the issue with the $543 Blancpain that only comes with a tiny 6.5 wrist strap and needs special Torx T3 drivers as well to get it open.
  2. Hi and welcome. That´s an interesting story. Nice to have You around and thanks for the buckle pics. And Your small dog has a great name:)
  3. Hi and welcome. Almost infinite information around so just pick Your likings. Hope to see some reviews in the future.
  4. Hi and welcome. Interesting intro, look around, try out one of the smaller TD´s as well and looking forward to pictures of gens and reps in the future (specially the GMT master:)
  5. 16570-M series today - the last of the five digit sport models
  6. for $10k You can´t expect too much. Found this one, but its not from a TD on this forum and there are 2 obvious flaws: colour is a little bit off and the logo has happy feet, not sure about the engine....
  7. Hi and welcome to the forum. Here You will find all the info You have been looking for, it will take some time. First a picture for You and other forum members to enjoy:) Although You have an interesting variant of THE question.... this covers all relevant topics: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/85981-hey-noobor-not-so-noobread-this-now/ and this might help with the Patek http://www.rwgforum.net/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1 stay around and have fun - and post some pictures when the Patek arrives.
  8. adorable moneythrower over there - will save that one to my favs:)
  9. Seriously nice collection You are putting together and great ones on the way. This will be a lot of fun receiving them and trying out, so maybe You can calm down for a few weeks. When it starts getting really tough I walk over to creation watches and 4 days later something reliable and new arrives from Seiko or Citizen:) What are You going to use as tools for the BP screws? Read about Torx3 and Torx4 but those are hexscrews....
  10. Hi Gen, personally could not be waiting for 3 of them. While getting 3 sent to the EU is just at the limit but within, it´s already a risk, 2 is better and safer. KW Bronzo only for me. Lots of members say the ZF is great but just one modder repaired over 22 of them - than they where great. PP Nautilus me personally would take the decision on price only because both have + and -. The other option would wait 1 month and meanwhile choose another cheaper one (the 4th) to get along with it in a months time:)
  11. Hi, the swiss SW200 for longtime was considered the best with the best movement. The price was a dealbraker for me. There is a hole on the first link the gen has not. The cheaper one is a lot cheaper, a newer release and I really liked the superluminova (the other one has not), specs, mainly the thickness at 9,5mm are good. Best part is the issue with the hole on the first link was corrected (more gen-like - but hands are wrong). The hands or the second hand on the Myota are wrong (don´t quote me on it, pls. research a bit). Generally these dials reflect sunlight and create beautiful and different shades and reflections continuously. Other members have more expertise on the Nautilus and if the shades of blue are ok.
  12. Dial just arrived yesterday so my gilt 55 got fresh company by now
  13. Hi and welcome, nothing else to add:) The TD´s themselves know best how to ship to Your country of destination.
  14. Hi and welcome to the forum. Enjoy all the info:)
  15. Mine´s got the A7750, anyway after reading for 2-3 months finally decided to after all go with it instead of the 504/505 and very happy with the choice. Thing is - 5 days after having placed the order the Seagull was released....for a much better price.
  16. "New" strap for the SD arrived and another Seiko 55 as well:)
  17. Hi and welcome to the forum. Glad You´re finding all the info for Your projects around here.
  18. Hi and welcome. With the KW model of the PAM386 basically I do everything. If needed these can be serviced (3-5 years) or receive a new movement. The good news is that the newest 2014 release is the most reliable and also cheaper than the previous version that had an asian7750 movement.
