Anyone? So a "regular" crystal is 29.5 mm in the "mounting" part C. And 30.4 mm in the visible part A. I'm guessing the width of a gasket is about 0.45mm. Then we have the height E... Since the double-domed sapphires aren't available with a lip, I guess the only option is getting one that is 29.5 (C) with a thickness (D) of 1 to 2 mm. Should I use an I-formed nylon gasket or an L-formed? L-formed right? Then I can do: How high is b? Because I don't want the sapphire to be "too" recessed, neither do I want it too high? --- Please any tips?

Finally done with reshaping the case.. All that is left is maybe drilling hug holes and drill/tap the case.

Yeah it's from Dung. Accidentally paid overprice for it. Should have gotten it from tonnywatches for 250USD incl. S&H. After some discussion it seems that they have the same vietnamese supplier. Nice. Better than paying close to 1000USD from MQ? Yeah, I was planning it, since I was told that it was the only case that had a enough meat to be close to it. I am aware of the fact that it won't be 100%. On the other hand, as soon as one will see that dial and the TC-hands, for a vintage-Rolex fan, it should be pretty obvious that it's a replica. So, considering stuff like case thickness, rubber ring under the bezel, etc, it's "good enough for me".

There are several ebay sellers that have access to the same supplier I think.. I found another one (through some detective work), sells gilt dials incl. hands and shipping for 230USD.

So this Tonnywatches is a big mysterium... Better buy some dials before he becomes greedy I hope!
