Bud....... Trust what people have told you already and stop agonizing over this first purchase. Go to a TD and buy a reasonably priced piece. When you receive it, I can almost guarantee that you'll be thrilled beyond imagination. Especially with a PAM305, as these are some of the better reps out there.

That's the pressure release valve for deep diving --- Obviously, non-functional on the rep. Get one! I am trilled with mine!

EXACTLY! Given the general accuracy of reps these days, especially when it comes to many of the PAM models, I cannot ever foresee forking over thousands for another gen.

You guys may be right in your thinking, but........ These scumbags have no conscience. Just ignoring him, knowing what he's all about, will simply allow him to find some unsuspecting repair guy who he can then take advantage of. Rather than looking at it as getting even, I see it more as protecting our fellow members. If he gets away with it, he'll simply continue. I'd agree to take his watch then give him some false address to send it to. Maybe an address of an AD!
