  1. I remember seeing some decent Anonimo replicas two-three years ago. Think they were never great sellers. Seems like Silix-Prime still have them: http://www.silix-prime.so/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=115_120 Hope you will post a review if you decide to buy one! I quite like these..
  2. Would be interesting to hear details about what problems he have had? I am also considering to buy..
  3. Thanks for the review: :-) Sad that there seems to be lack of quality control.. The review on Repgeek also mentions sloppy QC and the "cloudy" AR.. :-/ I were on the verge of ordering, but will now hold off until the other makers version hits the street.
  4. Thats looks like a very good rep! They have finally made an IWC caseback with good, deep engravings. :-) ( However, I think I am the only one caring about that). Shame the 21mm bracelet from this will not fit the 20mm lug width on the Mark XVII?
  5. I like this new Seamaster. A bit strange that they have ditched the wave pattern on the dial which was one of the most distinct features of the Seamaster Pro. However, the design is now closer to the old Pre-Bond Seamaster.. They have even reverted back to the same date window design.
  6. Velkommen til RWG. You will soon find that your Victorinox'es are delegated to reserve duty..
  7. Love the Air-King.. It is a true pilots watch, with a heritage from WW2. :-) To bad I do not wear mine more often. I need a new bracelet, the watch is fine, but the stock replica bracelet has badly fitting end links. The silver dial is sold, but the blue one is a stayer in my collection.
  8. Thanks for the repost, useful for us who stay with RWG. :-) I really like this one.. But I have a feeling that the datefont will be changed. It was a "Heuer Monza" replica bought in Kuala Lumpur which started my decent into replica addiction, back in 2002... Maybe I can try to end it with another Heuer replica.. The circle is closed. :-D
  9. Nice watch. The special pushers and dial looks well replicated. The caseback is however much less sharper than the gen, but I think I can live with that. i love the retro Heuer style. :-)
  10. Sad to hear. I assume it is the newest version with A 2892? The Asian 2893 seems to be more troublesome than the 2824 and 2836 clones.. I remember The Zigmeister will not work on the A2892. My Mark XVI died after a month of intermittent use. I sent it off to Domi in Germany for service, and it has been loyal ever since. It also feels better when setting time and date. It is such a great watch, well worth to have it serviced. I bought the new Mark XVII with the same movement, and actually paid extra to have the movement serviced before shipping. So far it runs good (fingers crossed).
  11. QC pictures from the first batch of the Black Bay are posted at Repgeek. http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=202112 Nice watch, however the pearl looks off.. The rep factories have finally nailed the Breitling pearls, so maybe in the V2 they will fix this..
  12. The Navitimer is a true classic. One of my first expensive replicas! Personally, I think the Serie Spesiale caseback, with the misspellings of Messerschmitt Bf 109, is way more of a tell than the regular Navitimer caseback.
  13. Silix had quite a few good Air-kings back in the days.. You could get an ETA-watch for 150 USD. :-) The replica Air-Kings had 36mm case, while the gen is 34mm I think. Nevertheless, I prefer the extra 2mm.. Watches come and go in my collection, but the blue dial Air-King is a keeper!
  14. Hmm... That is actually quite bad.. No need to even start to list all the errors. :-( Disappointing, considering the list of recent, excellent replications. What is currently the best version of the old Explorer 1..?
  15. I have bought some Abrecrombie & Fitch items and other clothing from Watcheden. Decent quality, and I am happy. In fact I am wearing a two year old white A&F shirt from WE as I type this.. Still holding up! :-)
  16. The most recent offerings of the Mark XVI and Mark XVII are very good. Puretimes site, puretime.co, is unfortunately down since Chinese New year, but I believe the cartel-dealers also have these. (F. ex. Trustytime at http://www.ttw168.com). Trusty also has a Mark XV-rep. These can be had with Asian 2892, which is a Chineese version of the same movement as the originals. They can also be had with 2824/2836 movements which are cheaper and in my experience more reliable. However, these are thicker movements, so it adds to the height. I have just bought the new XVII, and might be interested in selling my old, serviced XVI. It is reviewed in this review. send me a PM if it is of interest. Or, if you like the style and would prefer a good quality gen, you can search for an used Eddie Platt Speedbird. They are excellent value.
  17. The Monaco of course.. There has never been a good replica of the Monaco!
  18. I entered the other Mark XVII. ( the 338 USD version). http://puretime.co/product/mark-xvii-ss-black-dial-on-genuine-black-croco-leather-strap-a2892/ This has a video... It is the same watch, except for the strap and the less extensive decorations on the movement?
  19. Seems like Puretime has updated the pictures of the new XVII. Oddly, the movement is no longer as nicely decorated. :-/ Caseback engravings are shallow... Why cant they fix that!
  20. Agree.. The best thing about eBay was that there was a truly worldwide marketplace.. Seems like do not care about the non-us members, who are more or less forced to use the local eBays. They are worthless for scare or more obscure items... I cannot understand their philosophy.. eBay, is becoming more a place for bulk sellers of new items, not ordinary people who are selling off odd used stuff.. Sad! And the changes they have made in the feedback system.. I had a non-paying bidder, and could not even leave negative feedback "because the transaction was not completed"..
  21. Strange, it is working on my screen. Another try: Strange watch, even tough I actually like the propeller. The black Navitimer looks good, and I am normally not a fan of black watches.. The new datefont is odd, looks like old replica datefonts..
  22. Think I need to upgrade.. I was so happy when I did my review in November 2011.. And now the new version comes out. This is an expensive hobby! This is the old V1 Mark XVI
  23. I bought the V1 Mark XVI when they came out, I regret that a bit now.. :-( The caseback will probably be ok, albeit the engravings will be too shallow, as with all IWC-reps.
  24. Puretime has posted a picture of the Date wheel. It shows the ten's. It is way better than the old version. Unfortnately, I bought the V1.. Then the movement failed, and I spent a few bucks on service and new AR.. And now this version is out.. :-( I know it is stupid, but I am tempted...
