Trying something new - newly acquired Domi modded AP Diver. Have AP Diver metal bracelet coming as I can't quite get use to the rubber.

Agreed - my watchmaker could do nice things with the Y3135 as well. The only thing I will readily admit is kinda cool is the cerachrom coin-edge bezel... but that said, it's also not even remotely period...but then again it's a homage... maybe I'll get use to the idea.

I'd want to know what kind of markers or designations are on the case that let you know it's a "Tempus Machina" (pretentious name) and that you just dropped 25 grand on the watch, instead of it being something cobbled together by one of the resident geniuses here for $3,500 to $5,500 depending.

The 6538 HR that I got in the raffle had a domed sapphire. It was pretty damn nice, the dial on this one is nicer... but not like $24,000 nicer. Even with a genuine Rolex movement you can pick up for $2,000.00 -

If you're looking for a Tag I would specifically only buy a rep... simply put the finish-work and such just isn't there on the movements, they're plain, and the watch dial and case details are simple enough that a decent rep is going to be pretty much 1:1. There's just nothing in them or on them worth their retail asking price. That statement excludes a couple of the newer pretty models with the updated fancier chronograph movements. They've been unimpressive for years, so if you're looking for a great daily beater, pick up a rep Tag.

If it's from Russia then that's about right, or on the high-side..... I got a gorgeous band for my Bronzo from Russia on "the watch prince" for like $50 Fantastic, all natural leather with great pad, hypo-allergenic etc... here's the link really can't say enough about it...very comfortable, great quality.

Doubt it - you can see the bit of a watch under there. It's a new box, so probably a gen Sub-C is my guess...
