Can you provide a photo of your crown at an angle relative to the case to show if it protrudes at all? My HR case - the crown protrudes a good bit.

I'll kick us off with a build that I'm proud of. There's a few people to thank in this one, MillerDave, DBane, Big Dazza and other members who helped me source parts and to the community, a thank you, for helping me learn so much. 1966 Rolex 5513 Submariner with Gilt Underline Dial & Point-Crown-Guards Genuine Rolex 1570 movement, cleaned, rebuilt with genuine Rolex parts, timed to within 3 seconds a day. 1680 Style (or later) Mid-Case with massive modifications by The Case Whisperer - DBane to make it more appropriate Genuine Rolex 5512 II.66 stamped case-back with genuine Rolex caseback sticker denoting 5513 Genuine Rolex Tropic 19 plexi-dome Genuine Rolex 700 crown and tube Case re-engraved as appropriate by NeckyZips (Joe) Yuki Dial with beautiful aging and relume done by Big Dazza, gen-spec hands aged by me and relumed by Big Dazza Genuine Rolex bezel assembly, with aftermarket faded insert by Big Dazza Rivet style bracelet with correct stampings sourced by StoneP Genuine 580 end-pieces Assembled, serviced, and pressure-tested by master watchmaker I don't even want to remember the $$ or time (nearly 8 months) into this build... but I'm loving it now.

Ok before you get your panties in a bunch, this isn't a "Who has the best sub?" post looking to score something from a TD. This thread is geared toward showing our members epic Sub builds, top-frankens, genenstein's, etc or legit, 100% original and authentic vintage pieces. I can't get enough of these - Not relegated to any specific model, be it 6538, 551x, 1680, etc... just VINTAGE only please. Let's see them!
