    This is a very special piece, completely custom and one of a kind. My three year old got ahold of the 5513 while I was cleaning about the house, and brought it back to me saying "Dada look at this! look at this!" and my heart leapt into my throat before he handed me this magical creation.

    This, imho, is the ONLY movement for the watch outside of gen. The Powermatic 80 is a true COSC movement that honestly keeps time as close to a Rolex 3135 or AP 3120 as you're going to get.

    I see that the magnification gives it a slight concave look too which I've noticed on the genuine watches too. Kind of the opposite of Rolex bubble.

    Genuine 1603 today with aftermarket green dial. seriously love it...love love love.. I am so torn between getting a proper 6538 build going or a proper 6239... can't make up my mind.

    The flame-outs happen everywhere now. It's disappointing and a sign of society crumbling a bit further as respect, pleasantries and understanding/reason go by the wayside. I'm not a "doom and gloom" kind of guy, but the crap I see out there is very disheartening. Combine that with pseudo-celebrity worship, poor education over-all, and opinion represented as fact on the nightly news and we'll all be lucky to be alive in 50 years at this pace of mass-retardation.

    Mike I've always been a big fan of these watches. I think the Ocean One Vintage is AMAZING. Also, big fan of this one too: I could not agree more. I loathe Invicta.

    +1 buy a Tissot watch with the Powermatic 80 movement. It's COSC and in league with the Rolex 3135. It's close enough to piss off Rolex owners who paid $10k for a watch that keeps similar time and reliability as a $1000 watch...well the 11 people that didn't buy it for the name or bling. Should be able to swap the movements.

    Get a thorough and proper service and replace the autowinding module if need be. I've had noisy gen Rolex watches and it was an indication of age and rebuild needed.
