  2. The only 24 or 25 is DSN/ Davidsen. I had the 24 and it's a great watch despite the low crown that seems to bother a lot of members Though the 243 might be higher quality in certain aspects it's a little top heavy and aesthetically not as nice as the 24. Go for it http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/120039-pam-024a/
  3. Stunner
  4. The Ti are great for the lightness , every home should have one, Striking taste in leather you got there
  5. Thanks for sharing . I must be getting old because I am feelin that "Wraith" That bronze Alfa was a bit special to
  6. F#$% Me we've got a right one here. There is a section for OFF topic rants and this is RWG where the W stands for Watches, not "Wanky Theories" on other stuff
  7. I knew I missed one. That really is a great bargain and that strap is great so another thing not wory about
  8. AJ I dunno mate. Really the correlation between cash spent and satisfaction ain't as strong as one would expect. Maybe I'm just to thrifty in my old age or just a tightass. To me the point I got in to this was cos I don't have $$ to buy gens plain and simple. I've found wanting something is often much more pleasing than actually having. Sorry to hijack your post Truman
  9. No worries , it's nice to have noob saying he's interested in a particular watch and posting a link to it. Rather than asking the same old bloody question "Whats the best replica panerai i can get ' closest to gen like "blah blah yawn yawn. At least you know what you like and want , hence my question on the date feature Please dont get me wrong here , go with what YOU like !!!!! Not what anyone else says you should like ...Getting a bargain $100 watch especially when starting out can be much fun. My first panerai was an awesome $130 Fiddy. It's was bloody great just looked ridiculous on my puny wrist. Then i caught the curse and ended up buying reps for 10x that price, which is just friggin insanity
  10. Good looking pure and simple
  11. Some Options to consider Angus 104 this has a date noob 005 from josh The Staple 111 cheapest option Toro might not be a TD here , but he is pretty solid 299 with Nice date from Toro , you may want to include a leather strap but its pretty good value and a very good rep All of these are a massive step up from the one you picked well worth the extra $$$ IMHO
  12. No not at all. It's just the better versions tend towards the $300 price point rather than the manual wind versions which can be at around $200.
  13. Spend a bit more and get something better. Do you really want a date version?
  14. Good grief you're in right trouble now
  15. I think you should go for it. The crazy hours would probably drive me crazy. . I think these are very distinctive watches and the quirkier the better
  16. Though I am no movement aficionado. I believe there are only 2 or 3 Variations of this model. There are the ETA 2892 versions EL/Neil/Hopno & later DSN and there were the A21J movement versions. If this is a new Seagull movement based version where is it from? Cos I ain't been seeing them yet ? Because to my old eyes it looks like a DSN version This is an A Series with T Lume , Same Movement This is the Movement in the cheaper versions
  17. Forgive my ignorance but isn't that just an older style santos on a bracelet TS or Angus? what is the difference with the Galbee?
  18. Cracking watches Guys some top notch collections. I is having winder envy though
  19. Congratulations that is great to hear. Wonderful to be your own boss. As challenging as it during the thick of hard-times always remember , "This too shall pass" P این نیز بگذرد‎, A: لا شيء يدوم‎, H גם זה יעבור‎) even if it takes a year Good luck with the Business
