This is kind of making me want to give it a whirl; I have quite a bit of experience painting tiny parts. I would personally use a 3D microscope, though. Some general tips: NO caffeine or any other stimulants for several hours prior. This affects finger steadiness more than you might expect. Brace your hands in a comfortable position, so you can relax. It's easier to make precise movements with as little tension in the hand as possible. Try different ways of holding your stylus, pointing towards you with your knuckles on the work surface is a good one. You want to be able to see exactly what's going on, so holding it like a pen usually isn't so great.

Since we all look so classy today: In other news, I may break down and buy a camera someday, but are there any out there that automagically upload your photos for you like my trusty linuxfone?

Great Odin's raven! MY EYES!!!

Boiling a lobster is pretty gentle (death in 30 seconds or so) compared to the common way for processed lobsters to die--immersion in fresh water which can take 8-12 hours to kill them. Not that my heart bleeds for lobsters, they are basically a big tasty cockroach. As far as humane slaughter goes, there is a ton of interesting information here regarding Halal and other methods.

I try to keep my personal possessions to a minimum, plus people who see my shoe closet inevitably make some kind of comment about how I have more shoes than most girls, so I gave away all the pairs I didn't really wear. Tigers are underrated, fashionable, retro, and rarely out of place--the perfect sport/casual shoe. I have a pair of black/gold Ultimate 81's and brown/ketchup X-Caliber GT's that I have worn almost completely out, I wish they would make more in subtle dark colors.

There is a rep of that stand available.

"Ex-squeeze me? A-baking powder?" No need to apologize--I must admit I've never worn it out of the house. Still, gazing into the hypnotic dial does transport me to a simpler time..... "Party on, Wayne." "Party on, Garth." "EXTREME CLOSE-UP!!!!"

I think most of us got the idea; the thing is I didn't see anything in the video and links posted that was especially cruel, or any more barbaric than the butchering of any other livestock. Unless they invent a cow sized version of the CrustaStun, I don't think the bolt gun can be much improved upon. At least they don't have puppies and kitties in this thing:

I tried those but they leave a greasy spot in the middle.

You guys look great, I LOVE photos like this, and people like you who love each other and show it. Nice shoes BTW, I had about 20 pairs of Onitsuka Tigers at one point. I ordered the same exact dim sum the other day, it just said "chicken in black bean sauce", the left out one important detail (the word FEET!) Actually I tried to take a bite before I really took a good look at it. Almost chipped a tooth.

Anyone Interested In a Correct "Bond" Nato?

Hmm, looking at the photo again that thing looks at least 3mm too narrow. I know nothing about Rolexes (Rolii?) though. Hopefully it's not too expensive? -

I would be interested, especially in the "too small" size worn in Dr. No. -
OK, time to dig out the big guns, top this! Why yes, that IS a genuine commemorative 1992 MTV Video Music Awards souvenir ana-digi wristwatch on my wrist.

I remember those times--enjoy it while you can; I'm 30 and my sons are already getting hairy armpits.

There's only one "high end" T3 rep, and it sucks. HRS is misspelled on the dial as HOS and the case size is (likely) smaller than the gen.

The movie Idiocracy wasn't too great, but I loved this bit on evolution:

Yes, when I ran across this site that was the very first part I visited, and have used it many times since. I guess it's possible that there are ads covering the link; I have no idea since I've never seen them (firefox+ABP) -
Also, the proper case measurement is at the smallest diameter of the case, so "pillow" shaped watches like PAMs wear larger than a round watch might.

He spotted it on your wrist, or did you take it off? Pretty good eyes on that guy if he didn't handle it. I try to buy everything on a bracelet, then source a strap later. I don't think there are any reps out there with a good leather strap, maybe they should get some of those "ex-Hermes employees" that apparently are all over China to help them out with that.

You can spot these pearls from a mile away--the rep pearl is centered (vertically) on the bezel insert which is WRONG, gen pearl is supposed to be centered on the whole bezel. This is only a .5mm difference, but you are supposed to be able to see the whole triangle. On the reps the triangle has "bites" taken out of it by the sides of the pearl (like a gen Rolex sub). Real:

I will concede that point if you can point out a single civilization, village, heck even a lone crazy person that does not use any "unnatural" tools to survive. Without our tools we humans are pretty much defenseless, so I think it's pretty natural of us to use them.
-
It's kind of silly to say that humans are not natural omnivores as we are the best hunters, throwers, and trappers in the animal kingdom. What do you propose the Eskimos eat, nuts and berries?

Welcome. Try looking here: Dealer site links -
No papers or anything. I got an Omega boxset in the same order, for the same cost, and it came with everything you would expect. I'm pretty sure any dealer could find these, I wouldn't recommend the one I used. He doesn't have a website or anything, and he doesn't speak English either. My order was sent with half the things I asked for, then three weeks later I got the other half, and it is still missing things. I placed the order through my old boss who lives in China and used to order stuff from this guy, he just calls him on the phone.

I have a strange craving for a steak with onions, washed down with Boddington's.
