mactower
Fantastic photo TwoTone. I have friends that have vacationed in New Zealand and they say it's unreal, like nowhere else on earth. Cheers!

Nanuq
Can I play? Here's a picture from the rim of Mt. Spurr, an active volcano across Cook Inlet from my house. It's about a mile across the opening here.

KB
So who is in favour of this thread being pinned and each day members can add any spectacular pic's they either have or they find during the online surfing? No watch pic's, no girly pic's just a look at this wonderful world we call home. Ken
Katerchen
Beautiful pics!! @photographers and +1 @ken - nice idea to have this thread filled up with shots from all over the planet just a question: would "architecture" in general also be a criterion for exclusion?? I guess many of us do also live in or near of big cities... Cheers George
plaifender
I for one.. LOVE the idea! It shouldn't be limited to nature though.. city scenes and society should count as well!
KB
Yes I would stick with nature but there should always be exceptions, a thing of beauty is a thing of beauty after all. Ken

TwoTone
Love the idea Ken... Kind of why I posted in the first place... The shot was posted by a friend of mine on Facebook... Came originally I think from National Geographic... The only thing I would add to the discussion is that we shouldn't limit what type of pics... If a pic touches a member and they'd like to share it, then so be it - IMHO... Double T
ubiquitous
I like the idea as well! This will give me incentive to get out a little more...

Nanuq
Mount McKinley, late afternoon, August 2006. What you can't see in the photo is the moose and bear in the foreground, circling each other around a willow thicket.
