gran Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 That would be the VC with the golden fallus. You posted a pic on the old rwg, can't seem to find it tho. Its a actually NIVREL (some work done by BENZINGER also on movement) Automatic movement based on ETA 2892A2, with a 5-minute repeater module from Dubois-Depraz reserved for NIVREL. NIVREL hand finishes only 10 skeleton movements per month. This movement was initially developed by Dubois Depraz, the module specialist from Le Lieu on Lac de Joux, in the late 80s for Kelek. As a Kelek distributor, Gerd Hofer of Nivrel, purchased all the movements when Kelek became part of Breitling. Limited Production - each rotor engraved with number. As you push the button at "6",watch chimes the time: hour in single chime, every 5 min increment in a double chime 18kt yellow gold "phallus" moves with the chime. Note that before the use of electric lighting and "lume" on the dial inicators the chime was a way of telling the time at night Sound of the chime: http://www.righttime.com/images/Other/repeater5.wav This is not only a watch but it also has a chime (like a bell) and thus also by defenition can ble classified also as a clock (from the Latin cloca, "bell") Price: $9000-15000

Utheman Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 All the women I meat so far ..... Theo A Freudian slip perhaps?
georgegrasser Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 I had a girl notice I was wearing a different watch on each date we went out on. A few years later when I purchased an Ebel 1911, she simply thought I was stupid for spending so much money on a watch. Another fawned over a basic $199 Movado Folio I was wearing. I was annoyed with it because I felt it had too much glare from the mineral crystal. So I gave it to her. Then she gave me the "Third Degree" about how it "Must be a fake", "Because nobody just gives someone a Movado". That was my first clue people sucked. I would continue being kind to people for another 25 years until I got arrested for it. Now I'm not so kind anymore. My trial is August 2nd. I will wear a Longines evidenza to try an impress the "Punk pussy" of a Prosecutor that seems to think it funny to prosecute a disabled man.
Watchmeister Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Think precious metals boys. A girl loves jewelry.
ChipSlap Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Think precious metals boys. A girl loves jewelry. +1 They like shiny things, kind of like raccoons do.

vlydog Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Hands down the two watches that have drawn the most attention from the opposite sex have been: My DLC'd PAM 000 and the IWC GST TI.
Zack G. Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) My Breitling and my Graham Swordfish does the trick Edited July 2, 2010 by Zack G.
tyromee Posted July 3, 2010 Report Posted July 3, 2010 I would have to say my Rolex and 14kt Seiko gets the most attention, most women know nothing about my Omega Seamaster or Breitling Colt.

She looked down at my wrist and said "your watch makes me wet" I was wearing my gold G Shock with diamonds, true story

mastrmindalliance Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 It happens very rarely but I have had the most comments on the montbrilliant legende TT: Bad photo, but it's quite an impressive looker IRL: IMO, it's the wide and intricate with gold bracelet that gets the comments. The bracelet is more like jewellery than any other watch i own.

mastrmindalliance Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 subbiesrock's next purchase... ;o) An excellent choice! Just fyi, the gold is holding up very well on the bracelet. It has traveled OS with me twice and is the second most worn rep I own! I'v had it now for 6-8months.
donerix Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Vintage looking watches that say Rolex on them work well for me (maybe they make me look younger...):
Pix Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 I love the white on white and rectangle shape on this FM. Beautiful strap too. Can you point me to a dealer that sells that model ?
