The one on the left needs a bezel. The one on the right gets the most wrist time at the moment.

Another one to remain nameless is up in Canada undergoing some wizardry. And the one at the bottom is my beater.

Stephane/Collector26--is that a skyland avenger?

I think I just fell in love with it. I knew I never should've looked at this thread!!!

:pimp:

Yes, it is and yes one can fall in love with it.

Me too I'm surprised though that I like it so much.

Got it from member Richard Lawton and am very happy with the deal too :)

these are two great chronos calavatra!! I was always tempted by the seagull....but unfortunately too much gold for me....

here are two more recent watches, Junghans, i had them on my wrist on my last transfer at the airport, and they are simply stunning! I think to remember they are 42mm, and extremely elegant! Sells around 1400 euro....

A decent rep of a magnificent chrono movement, with impeccable execution by Breitling.

How they fit a seconds/minutes/hours/24hr/3-register chrono/day/date/month into that movement absolutely astonishes me. One of my favorite watches, and I regret selling it.

Junghans is pretty underrated in my opinion.

They had a designer called Max Brill who made a chronometer which must have been the inspiration to the IWC Portuguese Chrono. The IWC version came much later and looks very similar.

I think that the Junghans version has been re-issued some years ago.

When it comes to Function over form then I have to go with Subbie :)

For form over function then I have to go with a PAM 326 :)

Strange problem with the gen NOS bezel and gen service replacement crystal. One or the other needs a hair of material shaved off in order to prevent cracking of the crystal during installation of the bezel. The Zigmeister is currently taking care of the issue. :)
