highoeyazmuhudee Posted June 3, 2013 Report Share Posted June 3, 2013 nice project, i too am working on a silver DWO. but flat top 3 got a gen flat top 3 date disc coming in to be scanned at 5000dpi and reversed got some silver blanks, thinking a clear thermographic print to go over them so the numbers are raised like gen. since youre making the round 3 we got all the styles covered! panerai153 Posted June 3, 2013 Report Share Posted June 3, 2013 If you're building a nice 1680 or 1665, and these will solve the problem of the numbers being either right or left justified, it's worth the price. To me that is the biggest problem with the 1680 builds, it's very hard to get the DW to look right. You would need to use an ETA dial to make these work, as the gen dials and the aftermarket dials like Ming, phong,yuki are made for gen movements and the date window is more to the center of the dial. 2846, ETA dial like and MBW, and this DW would look great!
