danielv2000 Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Rolex has just released a blue-dialed (it's actually a gradient dial!) Deepsea commemorating James Cameron's solo dive. What do you guys think? I kinda like it.
netniet Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 I really like this to. Hope to see it repped soon by Noob factory.
pcardoza Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Want one! I hope the wait isn't too long!
tomhorn Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Purists will probably hate it, but the green "DEAPSEA" really makes the dial, IMO.
lhooq Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 The only thing missing is the big "BAMFORD" on the dial.
436NR Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 I noticed this on their site today as well! I kinda like...
Guest REPPIN Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Ugly, the green font killed it for me on the "Deepsea" And gradient dials are for Fossil's
dbane883 Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 I hate it. Possible collector value as seaweed green is apparently the new red, but I'd never wear this horrid watch. But then again I'm not a fan of the original DSSD either. Gradient? Really? 1
Kime Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Too much damn text !!! 124 characters on a watch face... stupid !
panerai153 Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Too much damn text !!! 124 characters on a watch face... stupid ! It is pretty "Busy". For some reason, Blue dial watches have never stuck around long with me. Quite a few gen Blue dials, and out of all of them, the only ones that have survived the cut are my Franken 16613 and my gen Tudor 9411/0 Snowflake, and neither of them get a lot of wrist time. Legend Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 Already have it on its way too me ! IMG_8469.jpg post some pics when you get it.. the dial could appear different in various lightings and from some angles it could appear very pretty i suspect.
Jordanf1 Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 post some pics when you get it.. the dial could appear different in various lightings and from some angles it could appear very pretty i suspect. Hey Mr A You know i will mate, as far as i know the dial graduates from light blue down to dark blue .....
Legend Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 Hey Mr A You know i will mate, as far as i know the dial graduates from light blue down to dark blue ..... Oh, i though it graduates from blue to black but I'm not the one buying the watch, what do I know? lol
HaydenM Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I can't say I'm a fan of the design, it just seems like they have combined a variety of gimmicks (The gradient dial, the large green text) all at once which to me doesn't seem like a watch that will age well in the future as far as style goes.
Ezio Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I Stick with the all Black deepsea but maybe when you see it in the flesh it might be better looking Looking forward to some pics
automatico Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 The only thing missing is a little bitty Coyote (from Roadrunner cartoons) down at the bottom of the dial with cheeks puffed out holding his breath.
dbane883 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I'm sure it'll will be a hit with Seattle Seahawks fans.
Tonyyammine Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I seen it in person. Its [censored] ugly.
Ezio Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I'm sure it'll will be a hit with Seattle Seahawks fans. Haha you Think
