Important annoucemet regards my status regarding current work

Ok guys so I am just back from my near 500 mile round trip and Micky got to the Hospital welcomed by his sister and niece.
I will leave it to Micky to update the situation on his Mother, however I believe he made it in time ok. me, I'm off to bed!

Its the least I could do as Micky does my watches and as in the film 'As good as it gets' (one of my favourites) I only did it for selfish reasons :-)

 

All joking aside Micky has told me his Mum had a cup of tea last night which is excellent news!

That's fantastic news AJ. I've been through this for the last year with my dad, made 6 emergency flights to go see him on death's door, and he's still here. So I'm intimately familiar with what this means to Micky and his family, and what you've done for him. He will never forget it.

This is what makes this place great. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.

I had to drop off my Casino Royale DBS yesterday and this is what they gave me to use (better their car than mine for the mileage) Its a new DB9 Volante, too cold and windy for roof down though:-)

Update: I spent last night at my mothers bedside, she does not look well at all, she can't open her eyes, and can't speak properly, I told her I was there whilst holding her hand, she gripped my hand and whispered, love you.

She managed to drink some more water. I spoke to her consultant but he couldn't give a forecast on how long she has left, he was hopeful that her liver and kidneys are ok.

She's not eating at all though. I will be going back to stay with her tomorrow as I didn't sleep at all last night whilst I was with her.

It's even worse to see her decline and approach the inevitable.
