Tonyyammine Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 I think this is very nice. I'm guessing its gonna go for 20k http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/tudor-heritage-black-bay-one-reference-7923001-a-unique-reference-for-only-watch
droptopman Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 Beautiful. Too bad they are only making 1. Surprised they are using an ETA and not one of the new in house movements. That is going to be one expensive ETA based watch. If they end up making more for the masses that would be a modern watch I would consider buying. Sent from my droptop using telepathy 1
HaydenM Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 I think we need a rep of this. Gorgeous watch that's imo is much better looking than the normal BBs
danielv2000 Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 I hope the rep this and the Tempus Machina. 1
Dlf Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 My bet is 40k anyone care for a wager Looks great!
Mike on a bike Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 No reason they can not rep..........................
508-Fanatic Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 And then you can throw an ETA in the rep and save $19k lol
lionsandtigers Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 gonna go for 6 figures, for an eta...
Tonyyammine Posted June 30, 2015 Author Report Posted June 30, 2015 I think Tudor/Rolex dropped the ball badly on this. They should have a regular edition of this watch and it would probably be their most popular new Tudor ever. 1
martijnp Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 Stunning watch but I really miss the SELs..
Camarão® Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 I don't see why will no be in mass production......a rep will be easy to do considering the last BB around....
ubiquitous Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 Nice... But I would much rather have the 1954 original...
danielv2000 Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 Mass production would be better to pull off a rep. I mean, if there's only one, what are the odds of ever seeing it in the wild. Yet, if it's repped, you might end up with 10 at one table in Hoboken with a bunch of us at a GTG! 2
GenTLe Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 As pointed out on the brother forum, are we sure this isn't just a hoax to see if there is enough interest to mass produce it? Because this looks a lot Photoshop:
Mike on a bike Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Well the rep factories have the case, movement, dial for thr most part and hands , no? so just make a black insert . Yes Daniel that would be a good one 5 0r 10 of a single production watch!
Nightwatch Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Would love to have one, good opportunity to improve on the rep crystal as well. The 2-liner gilt dial with red accent and the red triangle just look great, as do the non-snowflake hands, amazing match.
martijnp Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Nice... But I would much rather have the 1954 original... Agreed! That one from 1954 is much better looking
Tonyyammine Posted July 1, 2015 Author Report Posted July 1, 2015 As pointed out on the brother forum, are we sure this isn't just a hoax to see if there is enough interest to mass produce it? Because this looks a lot Photoshop: Well I hope your right because I would own one if I can.
dbane883 Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 They write that it's a gilt dial...it is not. It's pad printed with gold ink. Plus some of the lume markers have WG surrounds. Hands are great though. But where are the lugholes? 1
aphillipe Posted July 2, 2015 Report Posted July 2, 2015 I hope the rep this and the Tempus Machina. I am having a tempus rep made.... Now I want this Tudor too!
Tonyyammine Posted July 2, 2015 Author Report Posted July 2, 2015 Holy [censored] the tempus is an awesome watch. 1
aphillipe Posted July 2, 2015 Report Posted July 2, 2015 Agreed I want a build of both.... Patience....!
