Pugwash
Watching CSI recently, as one does, the sarcastic Captain Brass was asked how many watches he had when they opened a petty thief's watch drawer. His answer was "Two dress, two sport." So, if I had to choose based on the Brass criteria, I'd have a Sub and an Aquatimer chrono for the sport and a 183 and Big Pilot for the dress. Actually, I've not really thought it out, but that's my off-the-top-of-my-head response.

doc savage
For my big wrist, the UPO and the 127 pretty much get the job done. Especially the UPO--I don't think I would have had the heart to send my FIddy off to the modder if it wasn't here to fill in! Daily beater/smart casual: As for sporty--I LOVE my Phantom but the readability is a joke between the lack of AR and the lack of lume. And the SLR is nice but it's just too light and thin for me, it gets passed over for the UPO everytime. I haven't found my dress watch yet.
