Jetsons
We should do this more often. stormtooper4, nice Fortis. It's very similar to my Hamilton ca 1968. Great classic and worth the TLC. A little color today: Tomorrow, probably this one:
arty909
Zodiac, hmmmm- Here's one of mine I had to let go- a 1972 Super Sea Wolf Valjoux 72 manual wind. Someone offered me an insane amount of coin for it; so I had to dump it.
andreww
Nice. I'm sure you know that was a standard issue military dive watch- any pics? Arty Also the preferred watch of infamous San Francisco area serial killer "The Zodiac". Its theorized that he took his name and logo from the Zodiac Seawolf that his mother had given him. ubiquitous
The only gen I bothered to hang onto. Everything else in the watchbox is a franken, with the exception of my Nautilus Jumbo and Royal Oak Jumbo reps. All original 165.024: Maybe this one counts as well? No name tourbillon.... Corgi
This thread makes me mighty might jealous!! Some of ya'll have really great genuine timepieces. I think I would like to own each and every one! Sorry about the crappy 'stock photo' pictures, but this timepiece is not allowed to get any wrist time nor is it on display at home, rather, it is in a secret location for security purposes. Its value is more sentimental than monetary, but with over 100 years of history under its belt, it is a time machine responsible for telling the time of the most seemingly trivial things - like when to get to an appointment or a date - and also the most important things where people's very lives were at stake. If not for this watch, I may not even be here today... it really makes you think.
