DemonSlayer Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Awesome photos guys. Though I love all types of watches of all sizes, I primarily collect black dialed steel watches focusing on the more dressy/casual range rather than hardcore sport watches. I do feel however that I tend to always go back to my smaller sized watches more often, as I feel they suit my 6.5 inch wrists a lot more than the larger watches I've owned, such as PAMs, HBB, APROO etc. Heres a few shots: Gen Rado Integral - I believe the size is 27x32: The legendary Nautilus: Datejust: Another Datejust: AP RO Chrono: And this is what a PAM looks like on my wrist :

tomhorn Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Gen TAG Classic 2000 in its 37mm glory ...
vlaletom Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 The funny thing is that in term of watch expertise it is producing and assembling a small movement that is challenging not a big one !! Until very recently making a small watch, especially with complication was considered a masterpiece. Going from the big pocket watch, to very thin automatique watch was the natural evolution of technique. And manufacture where trying to make wrist watch as small and thin as possible. the actual trend is olso very drained by the ability to "show off" from very far
Pugwash Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 37mm vintage Zenith A guy in my office just showed me one of those today. It's his heirloom watch. Here's my small one:

Guest Carl Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I think that this is what we are talking about, right? My very first rep, years ago, and still one of the best. Carl
Corgi Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I have little wrists, so I wear smaller timepieces often.
