  1. very nice! how long it take to arrive?
  2. ive got gen 5513 tritium hands i may part with
  3. no case is perfect, but for the money the MBK watch is not the best value when compared with yuki. MBK cgs are terrible, lug holes need doing, bezel teeth arent the greatest either. also with the MBK you DONT want the "free movement", or bracelet (terrible bracelet). dial is so-so. get the yuki, over all better piece to begin with. my main gripe is the price and the crown guards are a little funky at the case bezel part if you can get the MBK, just the case set for 1/3 the price go with that instead. IMO
  4. i just upgraded...i think. i paid. so i hope so... but it doesnt seem to be reflected in the status contact nanuq for instructions.
  5. not bad, case profile is pretty weak, with some work im sure it could be better than cartel case. i wonder if the bezel assemdly is gen like, it says something along the lines of "ratchet" which would mean no. some pics also show the case with no lug holes. $200 aint bad, $150 is better
  6. bracelet is typical crappy mbk one, lugs have the high shoulders like mbk, crown guards outside havnt been trimmed so they have the wide large mbk ones, serial number is typical mbk one used. if it were a yuki case the rear profile of the crown guards would be different and the crown position would be correct. the crown position on this one is lower than it should be because its made for ETA which mbk cases use, yuki cases have the correct high -above center position because they are designed for rolex movements. dial is mbk and this case wont fit a gen sized 1680 dial. even if the crown is gen, its the modern 703, not appropriate for this watch, and the movement is high beat.
  7. all signs point to MBK, not bad, unless you paid more than $550
  8. the rep is amazing, but the gen just has a finish to it that the rep does not, i guessed the right one as well based on this
  9. $335! JEEZ rather buy a problem free 2892
  10. checked out the gen at the local AD to see if it was for me. thought it would be too big for my tastes, i gotta say it fits right, not too tall or wide looks stunning and is right at home with a black leather jacket and jeans. I can recommend this watch to all VINTAGE Rolex and Tudor fans! also got some VERY cool swag from the AD, came away with 2 books the print quality and the finish of these books is just mind boggling, these are not brochures these ARE thick coffee table books printed in switzerland. guess you can see how much mark up they have in msrp that they can offer such literature. also has a concise history of the models was also offered 20% off the $3400 (Canadian $)price tag (on SS bracelet) and of course some ROLEX SWAG
  11. as much as i love the vintage 1665, that TC 16610 is more believable as a gen piece. but ultimately keep which ever brings you the most joy
  12. a lot of the hublot reps approach the $1000 mark, they look good, but thats still insane for an A7750
  13. i have seen a lot of gen 1665s with bad dates
  14. i think its PTs watch, he produced it. is my understanding
  15. that came out very nice! would you happen to know the diameter of the 114060 dial used?
  16. i had an HTC 8X, thats a windows 8 phone. i found the hardware to be impressive, price:power incredible value as good as an S3 if not better. only problem was the apps were lacking severely. even the youtube app was non functioning. sold the windows 8 phone to an IT pro who only needs it for work and now im still sticking with my outdated S2
  17. you can change keyboards on the android OS. right now im using swiftkey and enjoy it. its very customizable. you can adjust touch sensitivity https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey&hl=en there is also touch pal, which features swipe text, my friend swears by it. maybe you'll come to prefer the swipe text over the conventional finger pecking https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cootek.smartinputv5&hl=en these keyboard softwares also feature their own learning algorithms for typing errors with suggestions. i find accuracy to be quite impressive
