my first impression was that as well, but these crowns are visible if illuminated with a flashlight beaming at the edge of the crystal. it looks like its being deliberately lit up to illustrate the presence of the etched crown since the dust is also highly illuminated. in other pictures that arent macro i cant see the crown. in a situation like this where you cant physically inspect it, the sellers reputation and an iron clad return policy is where you'd make your decision between committing to buy it or not
PT indeed. oversized stamped "580"s on a dweller says PT. high lug hole position, crappy hands, and thin hour markers, 21 jewel swatch movement, bad case back engraving. its a good out of the box watch, but if you have pie in the sky dreams of making a franken out of this, forget it.
some people stockpile gold, the real money is in rolex parts, pound for pound. you have rolex SA to thank for that, the biggest joke is on gen owners who have to put up with their elitist bull [censored], they eat it up tho, its an exclusive luxury brand after all.
"overdid" huh, thats a bit of an understatement
um, try clarks or whole sale outlet on ebay for inserts, or if you have $$ try PMWF, most accurate inserts IMO. but first remove the pearl from this bleach ruined insert to reuse on whatever insert you buy. the pearl youll get will be incorrect and the one in your current insert doesnt look too bad, better than most, and def better than what youll receive
CLARKS.
and i will say NOT Wholesmell outlet, their crystals are NOT gen spec, even a gen insert wont fit over them, what more proof does that guy need to accept most of his parts are off by a fraction of an inch.
JO insert and WM pearl together, at last.
very decent combo compared to the gen IMO
bought myself a gen insert, so might sell this one soon since i have no need for it now.
if memory serves this was a florida company,
buy WOs 16800 insert on ebay and the watch material pearl.
example:
although i might be selling mine since i have a gen insert, and probably dont need two
Nah Piek is the store, MBK is the shopping center, Maria is a dude(?) who bought watches from the Nah Piek store in MBK earning these watches "Marias Best Watch" a play on words to TWBest, coincidentally it was discovered that MBW watches came from MBK. makes sense?
youd probably have to buy a matching retaining ring for the bezel ring, since i doubt parts are interchangeable across different offerings. caseback i would say would not be interchangeable.
oh jesus christ. im surprised she was sober enough to choose one, i guess which ever was shiniest. talk about devaluing something you consider dear to your heart. Omegas looking more attractive each and every day
Rolex, its the thing to have, even if you cant pronounce it.
the last one pictured is a modern 703 or i guess what youd call a 704
the one you thought was a 703 is a vintage 703 for a 16800, 14060, replacement 1680, 5513, 1665
