NO, doesnt fit in my experience on genuine cases, their parts seldom do. you might also want to get the 1 & 2 oclock markers relumed to match the rest

just be sure youre buying the correct style 24-703, i know a 703 should be a 703 but for confusing reasons its offered in several style coronets and they all fit the 703 tube and theyre all 24-703

crown height on the MBKs arent actually that bad observe

out of the box wear it may be good, but if youre going for modding, for less than the $200 asking price you can get an MBK case which you KNOW fits gen parts and has the lug holes in the correct spot. bracelet unknown (endlinks are wrong) but the rest of the watch youd be swapping out all the parts anyways, might as well start with a good case. in the long run for the modder this watch may cost more than starting with the better MBK which i can personally say fits a gen dial and others have even fit a gen movement.

these might be the best out of the box to wear and go, but for modding something into a franken i dont think it would be worth it, spend the money and start with a good case and go from there. anyone going to buy the Josh one? i would love to see what gems or negatives it has, particularly the bracelet, so far the endlinks are incorrect.

so they say, but if theyre like the PT 1665 you still need a special ring for the crystal. from my observation they need lug drilling, and proper end links. it also has "open 9 and 6" wonder what kind of case tube is installed only one way to find out! someone buy it! i am curious about the bracelet but i cant see any clear pictures of the clasp. if i had to guess id say this is the same factory as the PT

is it the same old L342 serial? im betting yes. lug holes and all scale for that matter is greatly affected by photographic illusions congrats on the piece! love the bracelet

man looks great only thats not gen is the case huh. that is some serious commitment one day i hope to have something similar , the price tag scares me tho the reason for your pinbars sticking out might be because your lugs look noticeably thinner than any ive seen on a SD modern or vintage. even on a gen case theyre right at edge ready to stick out. compare lug thickness

looks like the exact same one i got that he said was the "last one" about a year ago. the lugs, crown and cgs look the same as mine and even the dial. if this is the case mine DID accept a clarks crystal, but to get a gen or aftermarket insert to fit you have to shave down the retaining ring just a bit. with MBKs this caused water seepage but only because they milled out a void in the retaining ring for a nylon gasket, the PT shouldnt have this problem as i didnt. The case is slightly thicker than what it should be and as a result the lugs and bracelet fit is odd. the dial and rehaut engraving are crap and i would change that immediately with a noob dial and a good rehaut sanding, the bezel ring is decent.

check the rotor make sure the angle isnt making it stick due to looseness, check whether it is indeed an eta as i know the asian made movements (not clones) WONT wind in a winder without adjusting the angle of the actual winder box first. i have mixed feelings about the 2846 as its predecessor the 2842 was designed to be disposable after ten years of service in swatch watches, its a rough unpolished movement with apparently self lubricating plastic pallets, now im not sure if the 2846 has plastic parts as of 2006 and being of the 21 jewel variety but it IS the bottom of the eta barrel and it is discontinued. the swatch base calibre 284x came in 23 jewels in later years. my advice to you is to find a chronometer grade slow beat replacement like ive been doing and forget the 2846 all together, it may not be worth servicing and the OCTO ones come dry as a bone, especially the reversing wheel pivots, which i convert to 21 jeweled movements by swapping in jeweled bearing reversing wheels in place of its original pin pivots, works , but its a PITA and im out of spare parts now.

the one in the picture looks like it needs drilling i can tell by the link that binds the end link to the bracelet. the one that accepts 2mil bars is a double barrel link. however in the picture it looks like theres a fat bar pushed through it. to tell you the truth this looks like an mbk bracelet. just ask yuki. what i want are some damn endlinks with out the bottoms punched out like on gen 580s, seems like punching them out is 1 extra step after theyre made, just quit before that and i'll buy plenty.

thats unfortunate, the engravings are nasty. and not because they shouldnt be there, the rep engravings are bad, but i guess that was the point. rolex +1 ?
