  1. You name your servers like they name hurricanes or tropical storms.
  2. After reading some of the posts I feel kinda small. 6' 185lbs 33" waist 42" chest 11 (US) shoe Not nearly as big as some of these giants we have in here.
  3. Damn I only got 13/16 too, I guess I need more scotch, then I will either get a better score or not care that I accidentally picked 2 guys to be a woman and 1 woman I called a man.
  4. Like me. I hope they can put together a decent version for the first run, so the 2nd run will be worth buying.
  5. This would be really cool, but I'm not getting too excited yet (ok I'm really excited, but I'm acting like I'm not).
  6. Now that's a lot of "eyes" laying around there.
  7. I also think it's the model where if you rub it hard enough a genie comes out and grants you 3 wishes too!
  8. A BIG THANK YOU to the members and those of you who stepped up to keep this forum running in tip top shape. It's nice to see the members really do care about this forum.
  9. It looks like you might have someone who went for it.
  10. It looks like my watch collection at my house. Oh wait, I meant I wish my watch collection looked like that. Thanks for sharing and now I need to go out and buy a new watch. The wife and I were out shopping yesterday and I tried on the new chrono PO and now I'm hunting for one and I also got an invite to their Rolex event next month.
  11. Thanks for the support, I told T that the membership would step up and help us out.
  12. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! It sounds like you have a very nice day planned out, but does your wife know she's contributing to the delinquency of a minor (you are only 1 today)? Have a great one and many more to come!
  13. Pretty neat stuff and it's interesting to see how they do some of this "magic" and yet they still are overpriced, but I still like them. They say it takes 40 hours to make each bezel, I guess they charge $150/hr of work.
  14. Eddie spends a lot of time on the road and has to use his PDA to access his e-mails, sometimes he can take even more than 2 days to get back to me. Once he has connectivity and the tracking info he'll get it out to you. He's a great dealer, I've purchased from him many times. I'm sure everything is fine.
  15. The expert has spoken. I guess there has been a mistake made, hopefully it's corrected before we have another episode.
  16. Very good to hear you are feeling better, it's nice to hear you took advantage of the "down time". You are really offering something no other dealer (that I'm aware of) is offering, once again raising the bar for the other dealers. Just remember to call your water proofing service "water resistant" service, not even the genuine watch companies call it "proof" anymore.

I was going to ask the same thing about the first strap. I like the cigar background choice too, nothing says "Man" like a nice Panerai and a cigar (or a few).
  18. I still find myself going back to play CIV III, I have CIV IV, but something about the older one still takes me back to it all the time. I would have to say Oblivion has been the best game I have played in the past few years. I love the open ended missions and the wide open world (you can pretty much go anywhere or touch and take anything in the world). I played City of Heroes, but it was boring after a few months (gladly because I hated paying the monthly fees).
  19. Ok, I think you should send the watch to me and I'll test it out and maybe get it back to you sometime in the future (or not). I think both the fingerprint and light test will work fine. My Breitling Aerospace will reflect a blue light and also shows blueish colored smudges on the crystal (so I think it's double AR). The rest of my watches reflect white light and have normal smudges. Nice looking watch V, I still think you should send it to me.
  20. Well, I am getting a little excited, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much. It would be nice for us to finally get the watch we wanted months ago, but from the pictures it's still a little ways off. I hope they get it right the first time with these watches, especially if they are using real 7753 movements, don't want to waste any of those on "practice" versions.
  21. Here's a guy selling a Davosa Chrono for $995 on TZ: Davosa Chrono 48mm Here's the site to tell you all about this watch, the only thing that sucks is 5ATM depth. It does have a Valjoux 7750 movement though. Davosa Watch Site If you don't like this one I would have to go with the Sinn U1 too, I wanted to get one of those, but the watch winder is full right now, so my auto options are out for now. I have been looking at a Sinn UX, but I'm having trouble convincing myself I want to get another quartz watch.
  22. The U Boat is a sweet looking watch, but 2100 euro is too much for me.
  23. Holy crap that was too funny! I really like the A. Lange ad you made up, it's very true, beautiful and VERY expensive.
