As is customary for a birthday, I got called in to work and had to take an emergency Eurostar to London at 7am this morning.
Still, it means I'm in the UK on my 40th (seriously, even my Doctor thought I was 29) where I can get a decent curry and a pint, albeit without all my friends around.
This means it's a tired birthday but I'm grateful for all the well-wishers.
ps. Anyone in London tonight fancy a pint?
