  1. I am not sure the crown position is correct. Also, the feet on the eta dial would not work. I assume the hands would not fit either.
  2. I love my DSLR. I got it a few years ago. It is a Canon 20D. My favorite lens is my Canon 70-200mm L lens.
  3. I think this should be revisited. It is really exciting. I would love to see you attempt a vintage red sea dweller dial.
  4. Very nice post Dudemeister!
  5. Yeah but will an eta fit in a yuki case?
  6. I have built over 150 pc's in the last five years. It is used for my watch money and other things. I do Grand Prix Legends and rfactor racing simulations. They are only offered on the pc. There is no console game that is comparable in realism. Now that I have built my own which was not really cheaper but it is now cheaper to upgrade than buy a new pc or mac. After reading this thread I think I will do a hackintosh on a laptop that I have. What the heck?
  7. Very interesting Freddy. You learn something new every day. Thanks for the information. The watch and band look great!
  8. Freddy what is the story on the bracelet. I have never seen one like this. Is it rolled gold, or plated. Also, what Rolex watches did this bracelet originally come on?
  9. I got it from DW. I never used it because of the mark but it is really hard to see.
  10. The price of the Gen T21 crystals has really gone up! I bought mine in the spring for about $80. Now the ones I see on the bay are $249. Is there an after market crystal with the nice beveled edge?
  11. I have an extra DW 6263 case and band. An 7750 movement is on the way. How does this dial look? There is a small scratch between the left sub dial and the bottom sub dial. Do you think it is critical or would it add character? It is there but very hard to see unless you get really close under good light.
  12. Wow Freddy, this is a really exciting project! I look forward to reading more about the project. Have fun!
  13. Stephane I never tire of looking at your watches. I like stainless as well but I do like the two tone sub with the blue dial. Have you ever considered one of those?
  14. You need to find the style you want and then the price range you want to spend.
  15. For the clarks crystal to fit I think you would need either a Euromariner, MBW, or wm9 case.
  16. I guess a major concern would be the thickness of the movement so that it would accommodate the correct crown height. With the newer offerings from BK having the correct crown height it makes you wonder if this could not be done with some other reps as well. I would love to get a 1680 case from Yuki with correct dimmensions and put an eta movement in it. I think that would make for an excellent rep. I wonder if it would work and if someone like Stilty could make an adapter for it.
  17. Here you go linked from Freddy333's post from way back:
  18. Wow! The watch looks great! My 7750 version is my favorite! You are very lucky.
  19. Hewlio that looks like the 1665 or 1680 that is supposed to be a MBW copy but really is not. It is the one that is being sold for $99 with the asian movement and $199 with the eta asian copy. I think Andrew has it for that low price. Here you go sorry for the double post
  20. It would be nice to have a vintage sub! It makes me want to sell my extra DW 6263 (7750). Heck I should only need one!
  21. Looks really nice. Somebody is going to be really happy!
  22. How much does an Asian ETA copy costs? Who sells them? Also, is this or an ETA the only movements that I can use do to the foot placements on my dial? Thanks!
  23. This movement is a modded Asian ETA copy. It is not really a copy of the 3135. This has been covered several times in the last two weeks.
  24. Looks like a good project. I look forward to seeing your progress. I have a noob case and noob eta dial and hands. I am trying to figure out what to do with it. I need to source a cheap movement that will work with the dial and hands that I have.
  25. Real informative post Justin. I enjoyed reading it. Thanks!
