  1. Hi F, Thanks for allowing us to live vicariously through you. Not everybody makes it up there and not everyone comes back alive either. Get well and take another crack at it in the future. In the future, you might want to spend a couple of days in Singapore aclimatizing to the situation there. No altitude aclimatization, but I m confident that the food here will prepare your tummy to anything that Everest can throw at you. The stuff that we put in our tummies...lol Cheers S181
  2. Puts my current build to shame....
  3. Hey buddy, Keep at it mate. Most of us can only dream of such a trip. By the way, you do have a RWG flag to plant at the top don't you? Cheer S181
  4. Stay the course KB. We can't be spending all our money on watches only....
  5. subscribed...guess I have to live vicariously through you for now...
  6. Once received, I NEVER send the watch back to the dealer. i will rely on members and modders henceforth.
  7. More details of ur watch will allow a faster more accurate diagnosis of your problem.
  8. Show em coz I know you have em
  9. Thanks JoeyB. The fact that the bezel be of any colour is very interesting indeed....hmmmmm
  10. Hey Guys, I am about to embark on my first 2012 project and its the 6542 white dial. Donerix's pictures just pushed me over the edge. Its not going to be freddy good but I'd like it to be aesthetically close to the the real deal as possible. The above will be the parts that I'll be using 1. PT 6542 GMT 2. NDT acrylic Bezel 3. Ingod white dial. 4. Tropic 116 5. Gen twinlock 6mm crown. I'd appreciate any inputs from people who has built this before and also if anyone's built a roulette DW overlay for an ETA movement before.... Thanks in advance. S181
  11. +1 here. It can be reborn as a non-branded pilot's watch with a no date function.
  12. Excellent choice.... lucky you. This was one of the few good remaining DW dials in Spin's inventory. Future new orders are going to be hot or miss with DW winding down his rep interest.
  13. It's decided... the last spot in my watchbox is gonna be this one... Thanks E for making it a no brainer
  14. Can't beat the price... A bit off topic here, how are the 8mm Brevet crowns and bracelets listed at Rafflestime.
  15. In order of preferance 1. Chanel Bleu 2. GA acqua Di Gio 3. Polo RL Blue 4. Boss Orange 5. Clinique Happy Where I am at, with 80% ~ 90% humididty, light, fresh scents does pretty well. I dont think I can do the heavy musks.
  16. I dealt with them quite often for some parts. Service wise better than Ofrei. They don't QC their stuff, relying quite heavily on the printed labels on the parts supplied to them. You ask for a certain part, they match the serial numbers and ship. If its the wrong part, best of luck to you my friend. Cousins did screw up an order sending the wrong part, twice with no refund or even an apology but hey.... no one's perfect. Their excuse was that their supplier supplied them with the wrong part. But my experience with them is more positive than negative. Let me know if you have another supplier, it's always good to have options.
  17. Blood pressure went up when I saw the listing earlier this morning.... then I read the fine details.
  18. Thanks M.... The hunt for a decently priced dial continues. I like it that much
