  2. i am also in the market for a 20mm yuki's riveted bracelet. yuki's supply is farily unstable. i remember they didnt have any in around Dec 2012 but sold them again in 2013. if anyone has a spare yuki, please let me know.. flex
  3. i can confirm the crown is [censored]. i threw it out as soon as i opened the package. the tube though will fit gen crown. dial is average. with insert i think you will need a gen as everyone is an expert thse days thanks to the macro pic posted on various forums
  4. whats up with trf forum..i can't open it on my ipad,,it said ssl error..
  5. the bezel wil fit. mbw bezel is not as good as phong though
  6. IMHO servicing at Bob Riley for that 1675 is an overkill. You will be looking at additional 1.5k for service at watchmaker intl... All your really is really servicing the movement and pressure test it.. Perhaps a nicer insert. I wouldn't pay more than $4800 for a 70's GMT. If the dial is correct for the serial range, i wouldn't touch the dial and hands. They look nice as it is...just my opinion Flex
  7. since you used a chapter ring dial, i suppose you know that you will have lots of works to do on the CGs..
  8. are you sure this is 70s? looks like a pre-68 to me.
  9. Gen (nothing come close, even service bezel looks good & right) > Phong older generation > others
  10. That's beautiful. Pro hunter will come up with something like this soon...
  11. I hope they will make this case public...want to know the detail of those watches
  12. Aftermarket.. Refinished dial.
  13. The croc PN he post has a gen bezel. he also has full set of comexes and double name Daytonas (tiffanys and cartiers). i read that he did post on internet forum and admitted that some of his watches or the parts thereof were replica (or partially). does anyone know where he posts other than the vrf which is completely dead nowadays.
  14. if you need a yuki pearl, ,let me one. i have a spare one.
  15. Full report here: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/sites/default/files/custom/Embeds/John%20Meyer%20Lawsuit.pdf?mobile_redirect=false
  16. any dealers who think Rolex don't have records of the all the details are waiting to crash...Rolex in geneva would examine dial, case (serial number) etc. and extensive records of special watches. ok rolex outside of geneva may not have a clue but i know for a fact that the heritage does keep many rare parts and would service for selected customers.
  17. straight or round? ive a drsd back.
  18. i wouldn't do it.. none of the dials worth anything. The mid size and ladies are usually not that popular even for ladies. Ladies nowadays prefer to wear Gents.
  19. its cheaper to acquire a new watch for your dad from a trusted dealer/ a used one from the sales forum than fixing that watch. Unless you can source the parts from the sales forum, acquiring those parts may be difficult. Seriously the watch has so many flaws you don't want to fix.
  20. n ice Freddy..love to see a pic of your 18k rivetted bracalet!
  21. i like the old Eddie Lee 001L dial. the old EL dials are made of bronze and add some weight to the watch.
