you always make more $ in the vintage parts market. doubt you will make as much with their modern counterparts.

i bought one from the local shop with custom diamond and ruby..not cheap though. with correct marking on both the case and bracelet. the case and bracelet were tested 18k. i can send you a pic via PM if you want. IIRC it costed me around 7.8k USD. gen would cost over 20k+ easy

yes its Fake. remenber i was in vietnam for a business trip? there were many street halkers store carry them. on top of my head, i hve seen about three in Saigon. it was about us1k a piece. all of them has a geninue movmnt in it.

its the older version 1675 rep...i have one as well. IIRC the dial opening is too large for any dials available on the market. the caseback does fit the gen 5513 mid case flex

The first pic is the last batch of 1680 when Rolex decided to use thicker case which comes with 93150. The 2 pic is the earlier model for Red dial (thin case) with 9315.. Flex

i bought a set 2-3 years ago...i recall they used to have wrong profile. the gen is thinner. i recall they used SD mid case...

sorry for bumping this old thread. Some of the memebers (including myself) have done a Phong 6263. One of the member here also has done a full gold model. all of us have used the geninue dial. The watch is too good for a refnished dial. There are lots of threads on VRF on the controversial PN dial. 501 is for 16610. 593 is for 16800. but they all fit. even 580 will. i dont think 93250 SEL will fit 16800. i tried the newer bracelet on my friend's early 16610 with lug holes and the end link dont fit. i suspect i have to bend the spring bar a little to try to get that mounted, but havent tried it for obvious reasons. if your budget allows, get a gen brown dial! looks amazing! think i saw one listed on vrm some time this week!
