He also has the GMT hands large and small for both movements. Make certain to mention RWG to him, name drop. He sometimes is in a good mood and discounts a bit. Also, RolexAddict uses Ken's caseback for the 1675. I do not know which one, but someone here surely does. Just in case you want one. Ken is a good guy, usually quick to reply. I did the same to my 6204. Before: After: I've since worked it a bit more. The bevel really makes the case look thinner as well. Look at how thin Nanuq's gen is. I use my buffing wheel on the bottom edge and take it down to give the thinner 'illusion'. The pearl is a smidge of lume with a toothpick drop of 5 minute epoxy on top.

Oh yes, you are absolutely and completely right to recommend JoeyB's insert. Just the honor and privilege of being in his presence is great, but having an actual part of your watch that he touched with his own fingers on your wrist should be overwhelming! To know him is to love him... It is the insert only, not the bezel. The original genuine was made using acrylic plastic, the brand name 'Perspex'. 'Bakelite' was another brand name of acrylic plastic, as was 'Plexi-Glass' and a few others all having similar formulas, but not exactly the same. The old acrylic dries out, gets brittle and cracks pretty quick, the current is much better. But Lexan is the stuff they make outdoor signs from, and the bullet-proof canopy on fighter jets. Each one is hand made individually so there can be a slight variance between them. They are made to gen spec, can be installed as shipped, though I like to fit it to my insert. I got your PM, we'll work out the details. Thank you guys.

I wish I had your luck. I've yet to have GS Hypo cement hold anything. I went to UV cement for crystals because they fell out with GS.

If you find the longer minute hand I'd likely go for it.

Measuring with my rusty trusty Harbor Freight caliper, Rafflestime Submariner minute hand is 12.90 overall. 12.01 from center of pinion hole to the point. Give or take an inch... For the gilt look hands on my 6204 I used a toothpick to hold the hands through the pinion hole, and 1500 grit sandpaper to take the chrome off, down to the brass. Go in one direction, slowly. Do not sand back and forth because if you catch the hand they bend real easy. Guess how I know that? It doesn't take much effort at all, just a few passes. The 1500 leaves a good finish.

The ETA 2893-2 and the Gen Rolex GMT 4th hands are the same at 1.7mm. The DG3804B and the GMT converted ETA take the 2.0mm GMT 4th hands. There were some older DG and ETA conversions that took a 2.2mm, but haven't seen that for a couple of years. I have turned down both ETA and DG pinions to take smaller sized hands. The Rafflestime GMT hands are 2.0mm for DG and converted ETA.
