  1. I'd love to find an affordable 5513 or 5512, but the non chronometer as a cleaner dial which i prefer. If someone sees one for less than $2500,- a message is appreciated Otherwise i guess i have to start with an MBW version. But the slightly too low crown position always bugs me...
  2. Very nice... i got the black dial verion... but just to be sure... it's a gen isn't it?
  3. Nice job Rob... And i'm a Doxaholic as well. Had several Sharkhunters but had to sell them unfortunately. Now looking for a nice 600T Sharky again... or one of the older 2 register Sharkhunter chrono's
  4. holy crappamoly!!!! All i can think is: needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave needtohave Could someone let me know (by PM?) where i can obtain the blue dialed version?
  5. Looks quite nice actually... i hope the rotor is more like the genuine. The XL had perlage on the rotor, but it should cotes de geneve with "chopard" written across it. From the pictures i found (not that much and not so clear) it seems to be OK. ... so no obvious flaws... impressive actually!
  6. I guess you're right Pug. The 2892 is closer than the 2824/2836 mvt's. But i don't know if there are some asian mvt's that are close? Maybe someone with knowledge of those mvt's can shed some light on this?
  7. Mmmm... there where quite some casenumbers for the first Submariners... read this article -> click here
  8. Stunning watch and at the time my favorite vintage Rolex! I just got myself a T-19... now i need the rest Can you tell us a bit more about your 5513? Did you install a genuine 1520 non chronometer movement?
  9. Correct... the rehaut of the older MBW's was really good. But still the crown is too low in the case. When you look from the side the larger part of the crown stick out on the bottom side of the case. With genuine Subs and SDs it opposite... the larger part sticks out on the upper side of the case.
  10. Gotto see it be4 i believe it. If they can make a true 1:1 case and the ETA 2824 or 2836 don't fit, i'm sure one of the asian mvt's can fit... The mvt doens't have to do more than tell the time and date... so no complications like chrono and i guess an asian mvt will do for me... as long as the bloody case is seriously 1:1...
  11. not one sub or SD is seriously good. In the end the crown sits too low ion the case. You can see this when looking at it from the cown side. This is always a give away... big time! Sometime the rehaut is deep enough but than the rehaut is in an angle and not straight. It should be straight... so i've seen no Sub or SD that has a correct rehaut... deep or not. I find it incredible that a difficult watch like the Hublot BB or the IWC CD are being copied in such an incredible perfect way... especially when compared to a simple Sub. But i've never seen a really good Sub. And unfortunately no good SD. OK... they give us the thicker caseback.. but the case should be thicker which it is not. Bottomline.. all Subs and SD are crap! I know it might sound drastic... but when you would look at all Subs and SD's like you look at the new Breit Steelfish, the IWC pilot chrono or the TAG Carrera... for those watches we are making a new datewheel to make it perfect! And they really become perfect The Rollie sportswatches... we modd for hundreds of $$... but they still look fake big time. It's such a shame
  12. Man... you really dug into it!! Thanx for the info So the fix is actually quite easy... now waiting if one of the dealers picks this up. I mailed one of them...
  13. Yes... i mixed them... my mistake The PAM104 should have a closed 6, polished case, no "diver's professional" on the caseback... I hope they will correct this error... it's nothing too serious... just two little misprints... The "swiss 6 made" and the "open 6".
  14. I am amazed that of all the flaw fixes on quite expensive models (HBB etc.) they can't make a correct dial for the PAM104 and PAM220... the "swiss made" is underneath the 6 and should be "swiss 6 made"... so around the 6. This is a model that can sell big time... expect for this dumb flaw.... Please dear dealers... make me the correct dial
  15. Cool... well done... and now it's time to work on your photograpic skills
  16. I copied this from a German forum several years ago.. so the language is German, but i hope the pixx will help. rolex_kroon_vervangen.pdf
  17. Superb... finally i can get my Inge in perfect condition I'm down for 2 coatings.
  18. If the collector has a lot of pieces at home adoes his dealing from there, it is possible the police took his stuff of course. It's also possible the police took his computer and has all the data of his dealings, the forums etc. Just make sure not to keep too much info on your PC.
  19. this is the chef designer of the new clownmaster
  20. Not as nice as the old IWC Deep One with depth gauge... also the new JLC extreme geographique diver has a depth gauge, but is not seriously one of my favorite watches
  21. Congrats mate... i guess you beat me to it I love this Inge chrono... hope the power reserve on yours is good. The only serious thing with these watches is the module on the movement. But the feel, the steel, the dial... totally awesome!
  22. GREAT!! I have to get mine to the watchmaker soon... and have the crystal AR coated as well...
  23. That crystal looks great on this watch!! May i ask where you got the crystal?
