  1. After googling, and searching the usual large web parts houses, I am at a loss. I am in need of a rather large ligne /80/ for a sweep seconds hand for this chrono movement. 80 is usually a "minute" hand size. This movement comes in @ 200/150/80 w/ 20 subdials. HELP, need a source. Thanks in advance.
  2. Interesting observation on "View New Content" When my RSS ticker, picks up the RSS feed, it resets my last visit and I miss a lot of new content. Strange.

    p90 x

There are plenty of torrents out there already. I intermix the P90X upper body work outs into my Mixed Martial Arts training. I really like those particular work outs.
  4. For your birthday, if you are in "downtown" drop me a line and I will buy you a drink. ...many more.
  5. Bump.... So, is the "imageshack" upload link gone? Curious?
  6. Wow, I am not usually a fan of white face PAMS, but somehow that sterile white face caught my eye. They all look good!
  7. I think you should go for it Chief. You might need to do non-stop AR runs to pay it off... I too would be afraid to wear it, but at the same time it is begging for it.
  8. I searched for this before posting with no luck. Forgive me if this was rolled into another forum upgrade discussion I missed. So the Upload link no longer appears to work for me. Thoughts?
  9. When it was serviced, and the dial removed, maybe--hopefully, the hand was not put on properly or it slipped. Take it back to whom ever worked on it.
  10. Downloading now. Thanks. I find your pics inspirational.
  11. I really like the way that one has aged. Looks fantastic.
  12. Since this thread has forked: 1.) Tire Rotation, as Ubi indicated does not do much good on a Sports Car (BMW, Porsche, Mercedes) with differing wheel sizes front to back. 2.) Obsolete Parts, ditto Freddy333. Even calling 'every' Seiko AD/watch smith IF it is that important to you. I just had my Grandfathers 1940 Gruen Veri-Thin restored. Parts were found. 3.) OP/OT. I had a realization about the AD/Watch Smith I spoke with. They are heavy on the retail side, and with a large inventory. To them, ...ain't broke... means run into the ground so it will be too costly to repair. Then you will hopefully buy a NEW watch from their shop.
  13. Yep, I think this watch might as well be Gen. Short of opening it up, I would say this is a five-nines keeper. 99.999% perfect.
  14. 6538 1665 DR 1960's Navitimer
  15. Absolute beauty! That watch is better looking than a few girls I know.
  16. I am glad my gut reaction was the same. Took the recommendation and am sending feedback to Seiko USA. Thanks all,
  17. Funny thing. I called my local Seiko AD to have one of my 14 year old Automatic Seiko's serviced. This watch has seen A LOT of Ocean time, so I thought it deserved a trip "to the Spa (AD)" for a good ole cleaning and servicing. The somewhat arrogant WatchSmith said if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I am not sure how I feel about this. Thoughts? Am I crazy for wanting a 14 year old automatic serviced that has never been? I realize it is a Seiko that is pretty bullet proof, my others have been work horses. Thanks,
  18. I totally agree Ubi. It is not just this forum. I notice this daily while out and about. Not sure how "up" everyone is on the current Generational Slang terms. Remember "Gen X", "Gen Y". Evidently the latest is "Generation ME", "Gen ME". This demographic is basically the current 20 to early 30 somethings. Some say Social Media is furthering the cause. When you really think about the MyFaceSpaceTwitBook and even personal blogs-- what are they really accomplishing? Look at me, look at my, hurray for me. Unfortunately, something like this forum, which is built on image building material goods-- only further brings out some of this attitude. The old "I got mine!", to hell with everything else attitude. Many of these people feel entitled as well.
  19. Ditto. Great service, fast shipping. Coupon Code RWG and/or repgeek.
  20. Not unlike what Debaufre is doing...
  21. Used POR-15 for many auto projects in the past. Great stuff, but you would need to top-coat it to prevent UV damage. Probably not worth it on a watch. You would also need to thin it. Just go DLC with Avitt.
