  1. Nice work. Fun to take these kind of things on and even better when they work out
  2. Like ryc said, that is no moonie. Nice speed master date though. Not so clear in the pic but it looks like one of the links near the head let loose, correct? I would bet that many of the trusted dealers could get you a new bracelet. Worth sending a few emails, but be sure to specify the watch from their respective websites as reference. Probably wouldn't hurt to also include lug width. Also, you may want to post a WTB thread. Perhaps another member has one that the could sell. Best of luck.
  3. Yes, that is insane. Just can't wrap my head around that.
  4. Well done! A great review on what looks to be a great watch. Definitely compelling, may have add one to the stable.
  5. Well there are times when this is desire able but this is not one of them. Very informative post. Thanks for the heads up.
  6. Nope. I think if there were we wouldn't see any
  7. Very very nice. Looks great even in the close ups. Enjoy the new acquisition. Great pics BTW
  8. Depending on how it looks you would have to decide to take it fast or slow
  9. All gen., older but Gen. As FxrAndy said it will require service to get the best performance.
  10. Wow! KB wins the prize for that one.
  11. Wow. Nice one. That dial looks awesome. Wear it well.

  13. Lum-tec are awesome value for the money. I have been hankering for one of the tungsten models for quite some time but have yet to decide which one. The orange on blue looks great! Congrats on the unique piece.
  14. Nice choice. It looks fantastic. Although, I prefer it on a bracelet
  15. That part actually is not true. His stock fluctuates greatly. In fact when I was looking for a new 2824 last year he had none. I had to wait for a few months until he was able to get stock again. He even told me himself that getting new complete movements was getting more difficult. So while they may not necessarily be rare, they are getting harder to come by.
  16. Awesome pic for sure. Hope all is well. We often take for granted the most simple things in every day life, like getting to work. We should never forget mother nature can be a right [censored] when she wants to be. Stay safe!
  17. just read back my post and it seems it could be taken two ways. Either way is correct
  18. Those suits are awesome. I guess by me saying so makes me a Star Wars geek. I would totally wear that while riding my bike (sans helmet, I am sure not ANSI or Snell rated). I would say very cool but actually they are not for most people
  19. Very nice pics of a very nice piece. My understanding is that these are very close to their Gen counterparts. I have always wanted one of these but have yet to jump in. Enjoy!
  20. First of all congrats on obtaining such an incredible piece. That franken is just outstanding. AS LHOOQ said, I don't think it is possible to do much better. Second, great comparo. Thanks for putting it together and sharing with us. Very informative for those looking to strive higher with their builds. Very easy to see what can be obtained. Cheers
