p.s. If i chose another route.. what dealers could sell me an 005 dial? I could possibly get an 005 dial and drop it into a 111 with modded brushed case or an 005 modded case.. the 172 looks great also... would an 005 dial fit the above cases?

The maker is out of dials and components for Josh's model 212 which is what I will wait for.. April is the scheduled month for the re-stocked 212..this one is mineral glas but with the blue AR.. hopefully like the gen I have seen up close..now if I remember correctly the sub hands are suppsoed to be black.. if this is the cse it would be a easy fix for the Zig

I actually like the 212 over the 111H.. after viewing it in the AD way back.. just there was no solution for the lack of AR with mineral glass.. the current model is by the HBB maker and I'm hoping it to be worthwhile..

I have the 253 Regatta, with the blue chrono needle but I also like the matte dial of the 212..

You can use duct tape rolled up into a ball and apply tension not force in the turning of it.. 10 sec. a day is not bad though .. I would leave it be..

the Rolex case back even for a rep can be a little difficult if it's tight.. I use the bergeon tool or a rubber case opener ball6 seconds a day is good so if it ain't broke..is my thinking..

I'd like to see 'TTK' reinstated as a member if not a dealer. As a gesture. Certainly not second guessing the Admin. for their actions, but as someone (me) and others who had been forgiven A LOT for heated indiscretion on the old RWG, we all know; people change. I have been given so much leash and understanding there and here, the gesture would just be the 'RWG way'.

Just wondering, do you have a UPO and if so how often do you change the straps LOL.

Switching rubber or metal bands on the UPO is a royal PITA.

I got mine with the metal bracelet, put it on rubber for a while, switched back to the metal for a day or two and it has been on rubber ever since. About the only thing that I think I would consider taking the rubber off for is the black rubber with orange stitch strap if I could find one for a reasonable price.

About once every 2 years.. but now I have the Pumpkin on ss and the black on divers.. as it will stay for another 2 years..
