  1. Pics look good, but the question is....do you like it??? will you wear it??? Should I order one...or wait for V27. Anybody...???? Anybody??? Thanks for the review Euno.
  2. bump...Seemed like there was a lot of interest when the diver and new jumbo were first offered. Has anyone ordered either of these models ?
  3. Have any of our members ordered and received either the newly offered AP RO jumbo, or the newly offered Diver?
  4. I know you will like the AQUANAUT. Looks like a nice clean dial. One of my all time favorites. Super comfortable strap and weight. A classic Genta design. Wear it well.
  5. My Aquanaut is my daily beater. I wear it with the rubber strap, and it feels weightless. I also own the MBW Nautilus....I much prefer the Aquanaut for daily wear.
  6. Thanks. Nice video. Beautiful AP.
  7. Pretty simple. I am a graphic artist who makes signs, and...there is more than just ... one way.
  8. I could have worn my PP aquanaut, but I figured the Black Monster was more appropriate. I made the right decision, my Aquanaut PALES in comparison to Omni's PP beauty. It was worn on a very cool shark strap while my Monster was on a custom rubber oyster style strap. He is the good looking guy in the shot, I am the old guy.
  9. What a great time. I am a very fortunate guy. Over the years I have had the pleasure of building some great long term friendships with some fascinating people. Getting to meet them in person is a real trip. And...we did actually talk about our love of beautiful watches for a minute or two, but mostly it was a sharing of the experience of living. It's all good. All the best to all of our old pals out there. And oh yea, thanks Thomas.
  10. It always depends on the watch. That is, if it is a dive, then I prefer rubber everytime. Sport, then ss bracelet. Rarely leather straps for me, but then again on my Pam Black Seal I wear a classic MP leather with sewn buckle. Mostly rubber or SS bracelet for larger sport/diver 41 or 42 mm. If you are in to dress type cases, ie. Lange or Brequet, or Patek, then classic croc/alligator would be standard. Watch style dictates strap style IMO.
  11. As usual you have found another jewel. One of the few watches i still covet. Nice find. The Mrs. will love this piece.
  12. Wow. Grail is an understatement. For me it would be THE holy grail. Great find. Wear it well.
  13. Agree. The Aquanaut is my daily beater. Super comfortable, lightweight, and classic looks. Nice photo.
  14. Personally I do not hate that watch. I do not love it either, however. A lot going on there, in the dial...on the bezel... but all in all, handsome, just ....busy, and somewhat discombobulated.
  15. Like in the photo. Like a bracelet. That's why they call it a bracelet.
  16. Gunnar, what a great couple of photos. You and your bride look fantastic. What a great time you must have had. Very cool wedding attire for the both of you. Classic. Norge Rules!!!! All the best to you two. YOU are a lucky man. Abit warmer in Vegas than here in Norway...thats for sure.
  17. FUNNY!!!!! My favorite watches are all the ones you guys hate. Genta designs rule IMO. I guess that's what makes the world go round. World's most beautiful watches: Nautilus Aquanaut Royal Oak and the FM Casablanca. I own all of them. I guess the Rolex's are the standard in the beauty category. Duh. Or maybe the Nardin's.
  18. Gran I am so happy for you. Congratulations. I am in Oslo today. What happened to our GTG????
  19. Congratulations!!! and Best Wishes Thomas. Hope you and the family have a stellar Honeymoon. Come on take a bit of that six weeks and beat it out of town. All the best. WE ALL LOVE YOU ....
  20. SS bracelets, like jewelry bracelets work best worn loose..for me. I actually prefer rubber straps on most of my sport watches...like Seamaster Pro, Aquanaut, Black Monster, 212 Panerai, etc. For the rubber straps... loose but snug, if that makes sense. For alligator and leather straps on my dress watches I prefer snug, not much slide. Best fit under a cuff dress shirt.. Iagree that balance is important ,if not crucial, to the fit of ANY watch style. For that reason I have gone away from wearing most chrono models...for me they are just too thick and unbalanced for a small wrist like mine @ 6.5''. There are a few exceptions, like the Breitling Heritage, but most thick watches do not work for me. I remember buying a IWC chrono because it was so beautiful, but after receiving it, I sold it immediately becaues it felt like I was wearing a hockey puck on my wrist. Perhaps 40/42mm...and 17mm thick. But that's just me.
  21. This is me...BMW 335xi coupe Only mods are the carbon fiber logos.
